    Brilliant to see that this can be done without having to remove the wheel. Thanks

      No worries at all! It is definitely more awkward but it is not a job worth jacking up the car and removing the wheel for haha

    Thanks for the great video.
    The 'free part' that was found looks like the left rubber tube to evacuate water from the windscreen... It shouldn't come out from the bottom unless it's broken 😂

    So heres a problem what if the pipe has perished just as it goes into the firewall of the car....how to I go about getting to replace all that piping...there is no real info on the PDFs about the routing of that piping to the back window of the CLIO3 2008

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  Год назад +1

      If it’s just as you went in could you not pull it out from the firewall cut it similar to I did and connect with the connector resting in the hole in the firewall? I am not sure how perished it is but the plastic connector would also be more resilient to cuts from the firewall! 👍 hope this helps 👌

    Surely easier with the wheel off?

    • @MarciMercy
      @MarciMercy Год назад +1

      There was enough space for everything, so no need to take the wheel off.

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  Год назад

      Everything’s easier with the wheel off😂 but plenty of space to counter the effort of jacking up and removing the wheel 😂

    Good DIY. But to make it perfect I would put 2 plastic tie wraps on each side of that pipe clamping the rubber hose.

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  Год назад

      I did debate this but in all honesty it’s still holding up great and I can’t imagine the washer pump is high enough pressure to cause issues! Definitely a must for best practice though 👍

    Got to be one of the worse designs ever. The previouse position was perfect. Thanks for the Video.

      It is not ideal but it could definitely be worse haha! Where was it positioned previously? No worries at all! Hope you enjoy the channel and subscribe!

      It was just up under the windscreen.

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  8 месяцев назад

      It most definitely would be! but this is a new car to me/the channel and not actually mine (girlfriends) so don't know the condition of wheel nuts etc... Decided I would rather not open another can of worms haha!

    Lot easier if the wheel was off

    OH, why not remove the wheel before this?

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  Год назад

      I mean you definitely can but there is plenty of space without it so it’s just adding work to jack up and remove wheel for no real reason! Entirely up to you though 👍

    I figured out why the hose gets damaged in almost all Clio 3... It's that damn plastic clip on the top of the fender cover that cuts into the hose.

  • @MargaretNel-l3f
    @MargaretNel-l3f Год назад +1

    I embarrassed myself because of your video. There is no need to take the fender covers off completely. Panel beater pulled the top part towards him and completed the job in less than half an hour.

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  Год назад

      Thanks for watching! Unfortunately doing that wouldn’t make for a very good view for the video and I am learning as I go. Glad you found out the solution to your issue though 💪👍

    Take the wheel off for God's sake 🥴
