Looks really good. Nice review, and screw these clowns on FB calling you a Dave Portnoy wannabe. We all know that's not what the deal is with you. They're just miserable people who are cranky and try to make others feel as bad and miserable as they obviously are. You have made me decide to try several new places when I come back for a visit in a month or so. Keep it up Joe.
Thank you very much! No worries about the haters! I let people that have good things to say help influence, not the haters. You're right, they are sad people. What is your list of places to try?
@@PizzaReviewJoe You did the right thing. As I said, I am used to that as I live in a very dicy suburb of Cleveland, not at all unlike the East Side of Buffalo, but I will say you don't want to be foolish about it either. Just the verbal acknowledgment of the camera guy letting the dude know he was being watched sufficed. Nice job.
@@PizzaReviewJoe I'll be honest Joe. I've been here 26 years and I'm sixty five now, born and raised in Buffalo, and I must say I really like it. As crazy as it may sound, even though it's literally only 200 miles away, the summers are better in the fact that we have WAY less cloudy days. I noticed that when I first moved here. The temperatures are a little bit higher (I love the summer) in the summer and it must have something to do with the proximity of the locations of the two cities in proportion to Lake Erie, but most days all you see are clear, deep BLUE skies all day long. In Buffalo, even on NICE summer days, there's a cloud her or there. Plus, I do NOT miss the high taxation and definitely NOT the people running the state. I'm not a fan of politicians thinking they're monarchs and not people elected to do what the voters want. The food is NO WHERE like Buffalo though. NOTHING beats Buffalo I think for local food specialties.
my husband’s family loves this spot, but yeah north Tonawanda is pretty sketchy in some areas be careful haha, a lot of cars getting broken into in the Tonawandas
I love Good Guys Pizza. I live 22 miles away in West Seneca NY and every once in a while I'll order a pie from my house, take that ride out to Tonawanda ( its usually ready by the time I arrive), pick up the pie and drive back home with it. By the time I get home its still pretty hot and that cheese sets up really nice. Simply an amazing pizza, my favorite in WNY!!!
It's been a while to be honest... Oh, probably like January I would say. It's a pie that I would take that 44 mile round trip for tho (mainly expressway). We had a place that was called Pizza Junction and they had a crazy amount of cheese and toppings. I believe after it went under, people that used to work at Pizza Junction created Good Guys... Or something like that. Another place that was much like Good Guys was called Bozannas. They were absolutely crazy with the amount of toppings they put on. So much pepperoni that you couldn't even see that it was over loaded with cheese too... Unfortunately those places are gone... I'm very grateful that Good Guys still makes a similar pie. (Sorry for the long write up lol).
What you should do is bring a small foldable table to each review, put the pizza on the table and open the box, let the pizza cool for like 3 to 4 minutes, then start the video rolling, that way the cheese doesn’t fall off and you can taste the pizza much better without burning your mouth. Just because a certain other reviewer stands up and holds the full hot box of pizza, you don’t have to! Be a trendsetter.. 😄🤣
Good Guys is a saucy pizza and top heavy. You either love Good Guys or hate them. My son and I love their pizza while my girlfriend hates it. Been going there for decades. My only complaint is that it's getting very expensive. I bought two steak and cheese subs and 2 slices and it cost me $46 and some change.
I love my goods but it’s a tough one to eat by hand u less you let it cool significantly. Definitely eat when you have no plans after. My favorite pizza ever though.
What do you score this Pizza out of 10?
The mullet is getting close to a 10 JG! Keep it going, come to Chicago! We got your back!
@@altairtheeagle thank you! Wonder how long I will grow this! 😆
Straight 10. Best pizza I've had, and I've been around a few blocks across the country. Chicago style was insulting after this.
9.3 Quite possibly the best pie in WNY at this moment. Really do miss Pizza Junction and Bozanas... Those pizzas were epic.
You're in NORTH Tonawanda. Good guys is the best. It's in the old Emzingers (sp) corner store for you old NT guys
Awesome! Thanks for the correction! How long have you been going there?
Damn that has a great crunch,
8.6 is a beast score 👏
True that! Did you like the looks of this one?
@Pizza Review Joe yeah got to say it looks amazing, Great review buddy 👍

I totally would have dropped in and had a slice with you bro, I was even off yesterday!!! I wouldn't do that man, I'd have bought the pizza for you
@Kevin Funk you are too kind! Thank you!
I'm curious what Good Guys thinks of this video. Next time you go there, can you asl em if they seen it?
Yep, dude was definitely trying the door. In my Cleveland neighborhood, they are all over the place like hoodie wearing roaches. Good eye dude.
