I'll rate a better place above the 3 musketeers... Just remember.. This is the level he is at present... Think when he is gona near and gradually peak... What would that level be like'?? it's pointless to bracket him as 3 in one of Novak. Rafa and Roger. None of them had the power... The disguised drop shots at will.. The destructive forehand. The speed. Only Novak Comes close to chase... But in a nutshell.. None of the other 3. Had any of these at his age. So don't compare.. This man is unique and it's sometimes an insult to a guy who trained very differently to the other 3.. Carlos has his own style and brand of Tennis... He might lose some matches... Since he is only 20...but we are talking about when is really gona peak his game...how much more strokes and offence.. Defence. Power hitting. Love. Volleys. Acute angles and his Service is gona get more power... For Novak to admit. That he has never ever played a guy like him.. Post Wimbledon is not true.. Novak beat him on relentless pressure strategy at the French Open. Just see how Carlos played the unbeatable Novak. It was a Master lesson in strategic thinking and game play. He this time made Novak fly of the block 1st set.''and seemed like he's going to win the 2nd. Little Champ.. Lulled him into overconfidence. When Carlos brought his B and A game out towards the 2nd set. .as a viewer. I knew Carlos set Novak up and his Team to a false sense of everything is in the bag. 3 straight sets. But the rest is history... To Crown It all... The calm and collected persona he exhibits on Court whether winning or losing a point is extra ordinary for his age... I've never seen Roger. Rafa or Novak so so calm and mentally resilient at the same age as Carlos... So he is never ever a 3 in one of those legends. He is his own man. With a master shrewd Coach. Just view Carlos Off season and build up training for the ATP and slams... It's really hard work as compared to the rest...the methods are extremely tough for the other big 3 to go through. That's why if he's playing at this level. He has done the home work on everything tennis has to offer. From now on. Barring injury or illness. He Will be badgering some top players as well...as Novak said. He is such a force to reckon with.. He keeps coming at u. Like a Spanish bull..

Nah, sorry but he is not overtaking Djokovic for sure. Maybe Alcaraz might win lots of slams, possibly even up to 20, but he will never reach the level that Djokovic did in 2011. 2011 Djokovic was the highest level of tennis ever witnessed and no one is surpassing this. Heck, even a past-prime, declined version of Djokovic, who is now but a diminished shadow of his 2011 self, gave Alcatraz one hell of a match in Madrid last year. Imagine what 2011 Djokovic would do to him. He would destroy him effortlessly, perhaps even with a bagel or two.

No doubt alcaraz is an exceptional talent.... But comparing him to the big 3 is just stupidity.... The competition that was there at the time of big 3 was unexplainable...the big 3 had too many rivals which made them difficult to even win a match... Alcaraz hardly has any high quality competition nowadays... Either good players are getting injured and they're playing awful tennis.... The only competition alcaraz has is Djokovic, nadal, Medvedev etc.... Nadal's career is about to finish he won't play 90% of atp tours except the clay oned, Djokovic also won't play too much tennis... Medvedev is the only one who can challenge him but he's also playing too much tennis.... The only reason he lost to alcaraz was fatigue... Meddy played 1 month of nonstop tennis and ended up getting beaten by a fresh in form alcaraz.....alcaraz still has hell lot of time and only time will tell he can be a great or not.... But comparing him today with the big 3 is utter nonsense

I've been watching tennis for 4 decades now, and I can tell you that no-one has dominated their opponents and risen to the top at such a fast pace as Alcaraz - except for Stefi Graf and possibly the Williams sisters in the Womens game. Also you have to gauge the commentator's responses, because they too have watched so many brilliant players in their career. The amount of amazement that commentators display for Alcaraz's matches indicates that he (baring injury) will be the GOAT. I hope he will win a Calendar and/or Golden GRAND-SLAM.

@@victorito07 Also the OP showed no class in disrespecting the current players - saying that "Alcaraz hardly has any high quality competition". He doesn't understand that it could be Alcaraz's ability and talent that is limiting how great the other players are. May people have said that when players play Alcaraz, they rise up and play even better than they normally play, and still get beaten. He is also misunderstanding that we're comparing Alcaraz to the big 3 right now - for their whole career. We are just acknowledging that he's got potential, and from what he's achieved so far, I believe has mesmerized the Tennis world, like when Federer was at his peak. SUBLIME.
