Regretting your choice yet? because i did. The unit is great at everything else except for it actual purpose, being a stable wireless system

the distortion pedal would go in the fx loop or NUXB8 > OUTPUT > DISTORTION > AMPLIFIER

Thanks for the comment, and for subscribing! You could actually run a distortion pedal either way you mentioned. It would both work fine!

I’ve had mine for a couple weeks now and it is a GREAT unit! Here’s a couple of observations I’ve noticed that may be inherit to all or possibly just isolated to mine.
    1. Yes you can power it via usb-c, but mine noticeably degreases the input level when not using the power cable. And it’s much less input than a cable.
    2. My unit does not retain the boost level setting after being unplugged. I like around a 5db boot and I find i have to back to boost level and readjust that setting each time I power the receiver back up.
These are minor things and will likely be corrected in firmware updates. Overall it’s well worth the money!

      @@MainStageMusicTV quick update:
      1. From NUX customer service " USB-C Power
As per the product manager, it's an added bonus or, in other words, a backup plan for situations where there is no dedicated power adapter available. However, because the voltage is only 5V when powering the B-8 via the USB-C port, the signal level may not be as robust as when using a dedicated 9V power adapter."
      2. as for the weird boost level retention issue, a quick re-flash of the latest firmware also resolved that issue as well. My unit is retaining all of it's settings now when powering cycling the receiver.
Conclusion - great product and GREAT customer service from NUX.

Just to clarify, it’s not a boost OR a tuner. It’s a boost AND a tuner. Changing one or the other in the menu only changes the order, or more accurately, short press option. Set it as a boost, short press gets you a boost, long press gets you a tuner.
