Martell snitched when he told Melody what the old men told him. “Don’t mess with nobody that don’t have anything to lose, make em sign a CONTRACT, etc.” sounds like the brothers been doing this for years. Maurice bout to be enforcing these contracts as their lawyer!

This episode was the beginning of me being Team Kimmi and my feelings have not changed. She can be so fair and impartial; a lot of us cannot live up to those standards consistently. Also, Mel is smart and is able to think on her feet, adapt and improvise when needed. Mel is going to be A-Okay, eventually. Martell will not.

If you live in Huntsville, don’t use the realtor that Martell shot the scene with before marsau walked in. One of his agents was unethical and ripped me off in my first home and I complained to Mr. Kel Mitchell. Claimed he would rectify the issue and has been avoiding me since like May 🤬

It's actually corroborated to be true that Martel had stopped communicating with Arionne (as agreed) and that he would do the work to get his behavior and marriage back on track (explained below) and Mel believed him as long as she could see the effort. He was home every night, he went to therapy, and there were no signs of communication between he and Arionne.
Arionne in the Tasha K interview even said that there were a number of breaks in between (the longest corroborated by Martel, Mel and Arionne being 5-6 months) where Martel was trying to work on his marriage. If Martel appeared to be upholding his end of the deal and he actually was for about half a year, how does "Mel knew" even apply here?
Ever wonder why Arionne decided to keep Knox even though she sent the other babies to heaven's nursery? It's because Martel was around or was in communication until he wasn't (seemingly working on his marriage). She thought she really was losing Martel because of that 5-6 months no contact. She couldn't take it anymore and called his phone. At that point, Mel thought he might have been lying about not communicating with Arionne and she adjusted accordingly by getting her affairs in order and initiating the divorce.
While me, you, and a lot of women might have bounced as soon as "we knew", (I don't know about yall) but I'm not married to my college sweetheart, with 4 kids, tied to him financially with businesses and bank accounts, nor do I hold a faith that would sway me to stay married through infidelity. All of those are true for Mel and made it increasingly difficult to just up and leave even after "knowing". It's almost like the "Mel knew" crowd is saying that she deserved what she got because she didn't leave when "she knew" even though Martel was actually doing what they agreed on.
When Martell said look at all the GOOD THINGS I have done as if that justifies his CHEATING OF 5 LONGS DISRESPECTFUL YEARS. Wow who says that as if that makes it o.k.

I went back and started this show from season 1 episode 1. Kimmi DEFINITELY interfered im Maurice first marriage. She chased that man then became his "friend" when he was having marital problems. She refused to fall back and played the "better, matured woman" and love bombed. Maurice also talks about cheating in a way that makes it clear he could do whatever and come home. Kimmi started lying on his ex wife and telling Maurice he was showing her too much respect. Kiuah wasn't jealous. She's been lied on and Maurice hides behind Kimmi because he's weak. She "mothers" him and undermines other women as a "wise elder."
