2024 Elections | Three ballot papers to be used this year

This year, voters will receive three ballot papers instead of the usual two. The reason behind this change is the Electoral Amendment Act that was passed in April 2023. For the first time in South Africa's history, individuals will be allowed to contest elections as independent candidates.
This has been made possible by the Electoral Amendment Act, which became law in June 2023.

The fact there are 70 SA political parties on a final Government voting papers must be embarrassing and quite ridiculous to first Western World Countries. Who knows what the main value of most of these parties support. Have a pre election to narrow them down to max 4 so voters can understand their value.
