I feel like Hancho's boxing knowledge is self taught and that he rarely has to research information. It's impressive. Sending power and blessings from Melbourne Australia
Here I am at 1:13:30 and I just want to thank you Hancho for existing and making these videos. The detailed information you provide on the fights and the fighters, the editing. You’re just an overall great content creator and storyteller and I hope you know that you are appreciated.
Lol facts.. I actually got into boxing because RUclips recommended one of his videos and the way he explained things and told stories about the background, got me hooked on the sport.
Hanch-man: nobody's beating that Also Hanch-man: *names a bunch of other people from other weight classes who have done the same or better. All jokes aside, if you love boxing this is your channel. Dudes so knowledgeable and I've learned about so much I wouldn't have without these videos. I'm the only fan of boxing in my family, and to be honest I don't know anyone even close to as interested in it as me so this is a real treat
you could literally rerelease all of the videos in like a week with absolutley 0 changes and i would vaguely forget and watch them all again. make a super duper master cut thats 10 hours and im all here 4 it. god bless for your coverage of the japanese fighters especially, and just the asian fights in general. so much history and action thats enshrouded on this 'world' wide web. your hard drive must have some amazing stuff
Man them Asian and Japanese fighters are great, almost bring a tear to your eye watching these warriors reach their dreams, as the great MARK KERR MMA FIGHTER SAID, WHEN YOU HAVE 50 THOUSAND PEOPLE SCREAMING YOUR NAME ITS ALMOST ORGASMIC, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU WIN( thanks hancho from Ireland for giving ALL these fighters their respect that they deserve 🍀🍀🍀🍀 RESPECT 💚💚🥊🥊
Jimmy you are a Godsend my spiritual brother in Jesus Christ, I thank you for doing the lords work in helping these beautiful souls out there who need a helping hand from time to time Ese!
As a pure boxing fan who watches a lot of boxing and listens to a lot of boxing shows, I want to tell you how much I enjoy your work and how much I learn from the research you do. Thanks for adding something fresh and new to the boxing scene.
Dam I did know the Joe Louis was a champ champ given he’s a HW haha. What an absolute legend ! I knew about the army segregation issue he intervened in. A class act! But that PGA study is simply incredible! Go Joe!! Also being as my wife is Khmer and 4 children are all half white and half Asian I really appreciate your coverage of Asian fighters. Keep it up! I watch ALL your videos!!
I’m really a newcomer when it comes to boxing, I’ve been around it because my cousin used to box and he was a big fan of boxing, so was my dad.Of course now I’m an adult and I’m glad i get to be educated on the past of boxing by guy who i can tell loves this sport and really cares about preserving it’s history. I could learn the technical side of boxing all I want but it means nothing without this context of what these fighters have done to propel the sport foward. All this to say hancho your channel is so underrated man.
Hancho I can’t thank you enough. Your videos are just incredibly top notch. At your request I looked into the story of Sergeant Isaac Woodard and it left me with a sense of pain in my heart. Not only have I learned a lot of boxing history from your videos but now I’ve also learned a little bit more of US history. An event that was never even mentioned to me in school. Thank you.
This is one of the best boxing channels on RUclips. You know your shit in all weight classes and spit nothing but knowledge and facts. Favorite boxing channel
Maaaan... i love your hidden gems on your videos. Honestly, your channel is the best boxing channel on RUclips, keep up the good work buddy Your fan from Saudi Arabia
HOLY SH1T @ the crowd energy when Tatsuyoshi beats Singwancha! The japanese boxing series are absolutely superb. Great editing, great capture of the spirit, you absolutely rock for shedding light on so many awesome fights to see. As always, the story prevails above all else! Thank you!
As an English boxing fan since 1984, i remember the Lewis v Mason fight in 1991. Great fight and one of the biggest tests Lewis had in his career. RIP Gary Mason.
I really love this channel, when life is hard it’s nice to watch these videos to get distracted and motivate myself and have stories to to tell the kids I work with. I coach amateurs and try to gain knowledge to give as much as I can! Thanks bro
WOW, great video with amazing commentary and back stories!!! Excellent knowledge of boxing, and it shows, this has to be one of the best all around boxing videos that I've seen in a very long time!!! Very well put together and edited that kept me wanting more, I didn't even realize that it was 2 plus hours long until the wife asked what movie had just watched...lol 💯🥊🥊🥊🥊
Best boxing channel ever, I love Rummy’s corner and you for putting on the knowledge, rich the boxing historian great too, but you the best of the best, the most obscure scenes in boxing always seem like they supposed to be movies with the reader h you put on them . Goat
Thank you for taking the time to compile and edit such a great video. Proud to be a new subscriber! Really appreciate your efforts to create content like this
I love these master cut videos. The only thing I'd say is, leave the introductory text (most damaging performance, etc.) on a little bit longer so it's easier to keep up. Keep making great videos!
Ike vs. Tua is like two twin juggernuggets going after each other. Their fight style was so similar too. Two guys who always got the knockout so something had to give. Who would have guessed that it would have ended up being a decision.😊
Once again new deliver another Hood educated video that only a hood educated brother would understand my name is Jerry I'm from Ohio shout to Minnesota they make Hood educated Brothers and sisters everywhere
One of the first fights I watched live on television was Barry McGuigan v Eusebio Pedroza. June 1985, Loftus Road, London, England. McGuigan ended the long reign of Pedroza as champion.
Undoubtedly. Like no question about it. That fight broke my heart and stank like shit at the time. Everyone was wondering “where do Margarito suddenly get heavy hands from?” Then a few years later we learned where those “heavy hands” suddenly appeared from.
@@zachwalker522 what are you talking about?! I’ve been a fighter my whole life and I believe Margarito should have been brought in on attempted murder charges.
29:57 thats a good ref right there was calm about it but also very stern and made sure to let both of them know that if it continues that he will DQ both of then
Mr. Hancho! I am moving to Japan for about a year sometime this summer. Do you know about any fighters based out of the Tokyo/Chiba area I haven't heard of that I should try and see while I'm there? Any big events (outside Inoue vs Fulton) that I should try and get tickets to?
I HAVE THOUSANDS OF BOXING MATCHES FROM THRE 80'S AND 90'S AND I TRIED ONE TIME TO POST AND GOT A WARNING,SO I GAVE UP.hOW DO I GET A CHANNEL FOR BOXING WITHOUT GETTING BANNED FROM RUclips? ALL THE FIGHTS ARE FROM MY 12 FT. SATELLITE DISH AND ARE FEEDS,UNCUT STUFF...GREAT STUFF ! 1080P QUALITY !BEFORE THERE EVEN WAS HD !
I feel like the sanctioning body’s charging fighters, just leaves the door open for corruption. what’s stopping someone who’s being paid more from pulling strings in their favor? just bc 3% of their purse is more than 3% of a lesser known fighters. Possibly why they wanted to get the belt away from Gary Russell. All the top fighters should just say F the belts, make the best fights, and just let their performances declare who’s the real champions.
I feel like Hancho's boxing knowledge is self taught and that he rarely has to research information. It's impressive. Sending power and blessings from Melbourne Australia
> self-taught
> rarely has to research info
pick one mate
I'm sure he works his arse off getting his information correct and his delivery concise and clear. Nothing without work
One of the positive things about the Internet that a lot of people forget about
Every proper boxing historian is self taught.
To my knowledge, there are no boxing history courses or qualifications anywhere in the world.

This is just a strange boxing video. It's a lot of unrelated fights, kind of strung together, but it's still enjoyable for a real fan of the sport.
@1:11:41 "that is one well built ring". Hahaha great comment
It's crazy when guys are so fast, they can hit their opponent 3 or 4 times AFTER the KO blow and BEFORE they hit the ground!!!
A simple severe rule against that could fix it...

I don’t know if somebody has already mentioned him in the comments, but you didn’t mention Eusebio Pedroza at featherweight.

Please Make it clear when it's lineal or major world title or undisputed....Monzon deserves a mention he was the lineal champ with 14 defenses
90s heavyweights were juiced out of their minds
29:30 this guy needs a movie made about him with nicholas cage playing him
what is the song used at 0:45 seconds?
Anselmo Moreno is one of the most underrated fighters of all-time. And Khaosai Galaxy should be a world-famous legend

Tito Trinidad was a Best @ @147 by any chance you know what was his record in those 15 defenses
Hancho can you make a video about Demetrius Andrade's career was it politics or was it the fighters
more videos need to be made addressing the mishandling of a top fighters career
It's funny seeing Manny Pacquiao with a boy band haircut. Frosted tips and everything.
@47:34. Name scrambled my brain
And wtf is an illegal kidney shot?....did he use a gun or something
How many title defenses did Klitschko have? How many title defenses did Willie pep have?
Pronounces the Asian names perfectly at the start of the video then proceeds to struggle with English throughout.
Any time I hear Stevenson name I just think of Chickenson
First asian man I've ever seen with a perfect afro
I Love you!!
Someone tell Jack Reese that taking points away from both fighters in the same round serves ZERO purpose
Except it does, next point ends in a DQ and both fighters don't get paid
Gary Mason R.I.P.
