Drift To Pastel - Scott Coletta

An original composition first conceived on piano, then arranged on synths and electric drum set using Reason 11 digital audio workstation software. I played all the parts live and did all the effects and mixing.
A curious wispy theme amidst ponderous echoes and eerie droning sets the mood of Drift To Pastel. A sense of dark dread is in the air but as the theme breaks free and begins to explore an intimate dance with the gently swaying harmonic echoes, the darkness shifts to a place where various dim shades of color begin to emerge again with hope for brighter days.
