Back in the early 2000s it was hard to search for Japanese fashion online. Sometimes I would stumble upon a Japanese website with cool street fashion clothes, but it was impossible to purchase from. The page would be in Japanese and even with the use of translation sites, the English translation was crude
I actually just got done using tenso. The necessity of Japanese language isn’t insanely high. It can be nice but not of utmost importance. Google translate can get you decently close and then there’s a user guide on tenso itself that walks you through the filling out process of shipping information. Additionally, I believe that tenso customer service can be accessed to ensure you are filling out information correctly if you are fearful of screwing something up. Ultimately still a bit scary as you can possibly send something to the kindly grandpa down the street from the warehouse if you’re not careful but just watch what you’re doing and you should be okay.
Arigatou gozaimaaaaaaaaasu!!! You a god for this! Just came back from JP and my withdrawals got me looking for ways to shop while still here in Hawaii thank you so much for this!
Yesss!!! I buy most of my archive / runway stuff in Mercari/ Rakuten! Thank you for this video. And thank you to all the stylish japanese people who don’t mind selling their used but amazing pieces for a great price.
Damn bro I’ve been looking for a kapital smiley cardigan piece all weekend long and I just stumbled upon this video today. Crazy! Ima give this a try and see if I have any luck. Love your channel bro, hope to see you in Japan one day!
I use a variety: ZOZOTOWN, United Arrows, BEAMS, etc. When you live in Tokyo you have everything at your disposal so it's all about acting like you live in Tokyo. As a result I shop anywhere that has the stuff I want. For instance I constantly check TheShopYohjiYamamoto for new items.
FromJapan is just a proxy site so most of there items come from shops across Japan. As far as the on-site items it’s very likely they are sourced from some of the same stores that they oftentimes receive orders from. In that case the items are highly likely to be authentic as FromJapan insures most stores they co-sign are highly reputable sellers.
Never been so called out in my life 👀 maybe we can fix that with a sequel
