It's not streaming. But I was surprised that the SID still played most of its voices. Super impressive. My GF says she believes they were loading the samples for the next verse while the chorus was playing. But there's not only voice, there is also a percussion sample, and a chord WTF?
It's so impressive, how skilled programmers are able to push the boundaries of the capabilities of such an old machine - and impressive, the C64 can have its boundaries pushed so far. This is truly art.
what a masterpiece ! tribute to KISS, Grandmaster Flash & MelMel and many more. I love the scroller around the world. Saw something like this in an Amiga demo. And now on C64.... Biggest respect to the censor crew !
@9:27 so I had to wait for 38 years to finally see a KISS show on the C64. This demo is so cool. In the mid 80s this demo would have helped Commodore to annihilate microsoft and apple.
so random and yet so good. Nice tribute to KISS (I stopped listening to them in about 96) who are finishing up their last tour, and who were around for 10 years already when the C64 was released :D
This is for sure one of the most impressive demos I've seen in a very very long time. 👍
That ending was absolute impressive!!!!!!!!!!!
I must say this is up there with the best, and I loved the digi-sample at the end that was great. Imagine seeing this in a computer shop in 1982.
Okay this and the performers are my no.1 ❤❤❤
Watchng again after seeing it live yesterday. Epic!
Wow, what a great demo! A real firework for the C64!
Woow i didn’t knew the C64 pcm sound streaming and graphics at the same time, this is mind blowing for sure👍😁

This was a top notch demo. Simply amazing.
This is my favourite from X'2023. The ribbon scroll text is impressive.
Yeah - I'm not even close to understanding how I'd get that going lol.. stunned!

Groovy :) Huge prod as well.
Wow! The amount of graphics is amazing

This will be part of our next livestream on this Saturday (10.6.23) which you can watch from our website or Twitch channel at 19:00 CEST. 🙂
Imagine how many more C64s they would have sold if Commodore ran this demo in their ads in the 80s.
I wait at 4:51 with turning the disk as that beat is so awesome.
That was bangin' yo!
Amazing! WOw!
hehehe, KISS for the win! Why? Because I LOVE it 🙂
This is AMAZING!!!

Uhuh, very nice.
Oh nice. Nice.
... WHAAAAAAATTTTT?!?
#1 for me.... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How is the sampling at the end of the demo even possible??? 🤯
Yeah, it's mindblowing!
I love the SID rendition of Rocketman.
amazing
Times when i was hanging with the guys in Censor design
❤
It's now safe to turn off your computer. That gets me every time😂
0:54 She almost look like that X-Men mutant Emma Frost/White Queen.
Would this be a file I could download and run on my own Commodore 64?
Yes ofcourse
Noticed on real C64.....BASS
thats c64 music on intro? a 16bit would struggle!!!! hmmm...
Running this on an emulator is pretty jank. The machine code is so out there you pretty much need a real 8580 to really get the proper sound..
