  • Late XV century full plate arm protection. It consists of: pauldrons, rerebraces, elbow cops and vambraces.
Articulated pauldrons of full plate arm protection have big plates. Each segment fixed by the sliding rivets. Such construction of shoulder plates provides exellent movability. Rerebraces have four elemets. The last one has steel button which connect rerebrace with elbow cop. Elbow cop constructed to cover inner elbow part. At the same time it doesn’t block movement when you need to bend arm. Such design of elbow cops also wellknown as Muscheln.

I'm a goldsmith and I'm really jealous... looks like so much fun dude! I would love to one day get a product so skilfully made and beautiful in its simplicity. Awesome work man.

That's really cool to see. It makes me wonder if that was my set being made. I just received em earlier this week. Outstanding craftsmanship in person and on the video.

Oh, these were a real thing. I saw this on a cheap larp armor thing and thought someone was so fat they couldn't wear it correctly and had to cut a square out for their arms. I wonder if rolling the edges on that square part would make it look cohesive.

    Cool!!!
But hey, what is the elbow part called? The shoulders are pauldrons, the gloves are gauntlets... Now what's the elbows? Actually I'd like to know the legs too, all parts even. Where can I learn this, if not from a armorer blacksmith?

Спасибо за интересное виде, в целом красиво вышло разве что наручи выглядят как то слишком просто, анти анотомично что ли.

"Let's make armor the medieval style, using lots of steel rollers, power hammers, edge rollers, pre-cut plates with notched lines, and what not"
    Not impressed, not gonna lie.
