I like playing commander, I feel more proactive when I play the role. The only thing annoying is officers who don't have a mike and don't follow orders. One time I have to keep repeating myself several times for someone to build a garrison on the point which I eventually built.

I find myself doing just like you when I'm a commander - watching my ants running around the map, telling them to place garrisons and spawning tanks. Can't really play, as in, I would most likely be static somewhere and not go away from the map view. Also, all the time generating munitions from both manpower and fuel.

I like those videos.
Very helpful for me to understand, how I could help my team as a commander during a match.
I`m lvl 68 now and I love to play Squad Leader.
And I want to try Commander, but I was scared to fail in a match.
Or the pressure is to high :D

Commander is not a thankful role, you are highly dependent on luck and cooperation. But if you get a few guys helping you out, you'll have a ton of fun, win or loose

You could still be a great commander if you lose. If your team put up a hard fight then they will be happy even if you lost.

@@kris9811 yep, Commander is now my favourite roll. Sometimes Tricky with a "Bad" Team, but with experienced Players, its a lot of fun.
