This style of building a world with several medium length short stories reminds me of Shows like One Piece. It just gets better the more you play and since its mechanically so familiar, I have no excuse to start over even after 6 months or a year of not playing. I will finish this game one day!
Why Listen to a soundtrack, when you have this, and the sound effects? The game's story is like a towering huge basket of mixed fruits. That is how I interpret the plot with the different areas, and how it becomes later on.
