I have a BMW X7 M50i which will be coming off lease, and I’ve been looking at everything out there, finally putting the Aviator and the upcoming 2022Navigator Black Label at the top of my short list, so I hope you’ll be doing a review of the refreshed Navigator as well!. I’d hoped to get another X7, but the ‘23 refresh is just hideous.
@@joesinkovits6591 That makes sense. The Reserve would be a good option for features and style. If you're looking for more power the Grand Touring would probably be a better bet - it would have similar horsepower and 20% more torque than the 2022 X7 M50 Should have a 2022 Navigator in the next month or so. Wish that we had the Black Label trims in Canada - I'll have to make a trip down to a US dealer
Hey, Steve! Great review as always! Quick question: one review I watched found the switch between electric and gas modes to be a little rough or choppy. Did you experience that? Thanks!
Thanks Joe! I didn't notice any choppiness when I was driving but this one also wasn't on a full charge. I'll make a note to give another one a shot and see if I notice any issues in the change from electric to gas
Thanks, Steve! I was at my dealer yesterday and have decided on a Black Label, but am still waffling on the Grand Touring Black Label. If you should get the opportunity to retest, an update on your findings would be much appreciated! If you ever get to Chicago, please let me know!
@@joesinkovits6591 ohh you're going to love that Black Label. I've only been able to see them in videos/pics because we can't get that trim in Canada. I have to make a trip down to the US this summer to see what I think in person! I'll make sure to reach out if Illinois ends up being a stop!
@@joesinkovits6591 Yes they are! Big difference would be the interior, Black Label perks and a lot of the tech is standard vs optional in the standard Grand Touring
Pretty cool that Lincoln kept my MKZ front grill..... Not cool that they got rid of the BEAUTIFUL mkz and continental. ZERO sense whatsoever. And don't give me the crap about people just want SUVS now. NO, they don't just want SUVS now. I mean, unless you have 70-80 grand just lying around? Come on.... For Lincoln to get rid of their insanely affordable, beautiful looking luxury cars is just idiotic. I'm getting a lot of compliments to this day in my 2018 MKZ, and no competitor comes close to the beauty of Lincoln.
Really unfortunate about the MKZ and Continental... but it came down to a demand issue. Lincoln was selling 10 - 20% less year over year since 2016 and it comes to the point where it doesn't make sense to tie up the plant There should be an announcement in the next few months about a Lincoln EV styled after the Mustang Mach-E that'll most likely be assembled in the Oakville plant
Agree with you on the sedans. Not everyone likes or wants an suv. If you really want to get bitter, check out the Chinese version of the 2022 Lincoln Zephyr. It’s a beautiful vehicle that I believe would sell very well in North America preserving this niche market.
