What tab you using for the lead part? Especially the verse because you reference songster but your playing higher on the neck than the tab in songster. When the verse starts , your higher on the neck.

How the hell you get that tone? I've been messing around on my Boss Katana-50 forever to get it right, same with Diary of Jane.
I use Guitar Rig 5 for all my tones, with a bit of extra EQ and compression. Pretty sure I had a bit of chorus effect for the clean guitar too.
