just came over from IDAC, after I saw you chatting with Steph. Great job you are doing here. I'm watching with much interest, as your car is quite similar to my '58 2 door, and you appear to be after the same sort of build. Keep up the good work!

I didn't know you crashed it! Looking forward to seeing more x

As I've told myself since then, every racing driver has crashed a car at least once.

I thought the seat mounts look pretty good.. Some people will go on about they don't look wright.. But they are not the one that has the car.. You will do a fantastic job of your minor.. Good luck with all that you do to your little car..

Those brackets look great! Awesome job 👍
I'm trying to figure out if I fix the old seats I have, but recently got some electric leather seats donated to the cause, they are a little wide, weigh a ton etc. Trying to figure out if I should buy a mig setup and make my own brackets vs go to a fabricator.

Depends on whether or not you plan to expand your abilities and do more metal-working/welding in the future. If you just want to put in a pair of seats, then getting a fabricator to make the brackets will be much more cost and time efficient. Otherwise, if you want to take up welding, do invest. It's a very valuable skill.

Brackets done! Just wanted to ask whether you're planning to put in 3 point belts or original style lap belts? About to install my brackets but want to leave space for the seatbelt reel.

I liked that old video you did, I subscribed after it but you went quiet till now. Those series 2 moggies are rare and you should of restored that😎

It was an utter dog, trust me. Also it was a 4-door which means you get tiny front doors, and I could barely get into the thing. Also, to be honest I bought it partly because it was MOT exempt, but now that exemption has been extended to all Moggies :). You're right though, it was cool. Felt very Sin City driving it at night.

@@Scrubworks wonder if that was the one on ebay a few years ago from Sheffield, I wanted it but it's mot history was bad 😅

@@EngineVids I sold it at the end of 2018, but I doubt it was in Sheffield, I sold it to a car trader in Bedfordshire. Black is a very common colour for those early cars.
