Reskins like these are easy, but if the demon has diffrent kind of armor, or clothes/hat it's a lot harder to make the destructible chunks appear properly.
yeah of course recolors will give no issues lol, modders have tried to port battlemode skins but even there you can see the kind of issues that it causes

since all game cutscenes are realtime the experience with these skins feels seamless too. Definitely running this mod. It would be cool if you could make the weapons a little gritty too. They seem a bit too clean and shiny. Maybe a little wear and tear 2016 style

Chaigun Soldier - simply repainted in black and white like the rest of the soldiers. Armored Baron: green armor - made in the style of cybermancubus armor (2016); red armor - taken from the game concepts, does not apply to DOOM 2016, but why not.

I always preferred the 2016 hell knight to eternal. Something about that smooth face with no eyes, but still knowing where you are, added to the demonic nature of them.
These are amazing! My personal favorite is the red Armored Baron. A huge missed opportunity from id to have both Fireborn Barons alongside the more classic-looking counterparts wearing a hellish cybernetic armor.
Suggestion. While I wasn't a fan of the color of the fireborne baron, I was definitely a fan of the arm-blades it had. I think giving him green blades would be super cool.

I'm also pretty amazed how you were able to reverse-engineer the barons of Hell like that. I'd imagine though that mancubi would be a lot harder, if that were ever attempted.
God damn that good. Personally, I would keep the Fireborne Baron in, but not frequently (like maybe he pops up in Hell levels only) and the cursed prowler have a desaturated green venom instead of blue. Good stuff all around
I think, in the next doom game the should combine the two barons, keep the fire blades and the burning insides, but give it the colors of the normal baron, and make the fire green

My favorite is the tyrant reskin. Shit looks bloody gorgeous. Dude when you get to the other demons you low-key have to make the marauder look like an evil version of the slayer. Like I know there's some cosmetics from eternal and 2016s multiplayer that can make that possible.

i like the imp from 2016 way more then from eternal cuz in eternal imps are so dark and have this color of pure shit while in 2016 they are brighter and cooler
For demons whose models were not much changed, I had to cut out textures from DOOM 2016 in pieces and put them on textures from DOOM Eternal. Then I corrected all the flaws and inconsistencies. The rest of the demons are mostly made through replacing colors in Photoshop and in some places I drew individual parts manually.
My favorite ones: 5. The Spider Mastermind reskin for the Arachnotron. I highly doubt that it was meant to resemble how Arachnotrons in prototype versions of DooM II were basically scaled down Spider Masterminds, right down to the chainguns and brain graphics, but that’s one interesting coincidence! 4. Hell Knight. I love the design of the Hell Knight that doesn’t possess eyes more than the one that does. 3. Summoner reskin for the Archvile. I like to assume that this is the Summoner’s husband. 2. Baalgar Cyberdemon reskin for the Tyrant. I love the Doom 2016 Cyberdemon so much, I have the Funko Pop of him. Honorable Mention: Baron of Hell. I just love seeing normal Barons. 1. Revenant. AAAAAA-

While I do love the new designs for Eternal and how they pay homage to the classic pixel enemy designs of the OG games, I honestly prefer the 2016 demon designs. They give off this fleshy, organic horror vibe that’s more down to earth than the cartoony, arcade-like vibe Eternal had. I still love Eternal’s demons, but if I had to choose which design I like better, it would be 2016’s.

The original Mechazombie design already mostly fits the _2016_ art style, the Arch-Vile...doesn't look like an Arch-Vile, and the Doom Hunter's red armor clashes horribly with the blue force field. You nailed the slimy look of the _2016_ demons though, that's pretty neat
I'm glad you liked it. About the DOOM Hunter, the shield could not be changed, since I have a suspicion that the same file is responsible for the colors of all energy shields in the game. Since I was trying to transfer most of the demons from 2016, I chose Mechazombi as the Hell Razer, I like the way he looks in Eternal, I just needed a demon to transfer the Hell Razer. Everything was difficult with Archvile, it is very different from the Summoner, so I had to improvise a lot, maybe it really didn't come out very well for me, but I don't know how to do it any other way, and it may sound strange, but I can't to draw)

Согласен. Не все текстуры получилось сделать такими, какими я их изначально представлял. У меня все еще мало опыта в текстурировании.
