I'd love it if he made a machinema for every expansion. It makes the game feel more real and less gamey. Like, this is how it would have looked contextualised.

All of the player’s characters had their armor and weapons completely randomized… That’s why most of their builds don’t make any sense! But still the trailer looks badass!

Being one amongst many to achieve a common goal. Rising to prominence through achievement and not because the game tells you. The Black Temple model of sand on the table in the center of all the players was (IMO) 100% inspired by Archimonde when he made a sand model of Dalaran (which he used to destroy Dalaran).

The orc in the beginning simply has a regular old corrupted ashbringer but it's been so long people have forgotten it's just a regular two-handed sword dropped from a boss in naxxramas. His other items are a T1 helmet from Molten Core and Conqueror shoulders from Ahn'Qiraj. Bonus for the people that keep being shocked by a "warlock night elf" must have forgotten that the old T0 sets are not class locked so anyone can wear that warlock looking set.
The maker of BT cinematic is from Czech Republic, I've read an interview with him.. He spends A LOT, like ridiculously much time on these cinematics. It's crazy, mad props.

It was because of logistical problems. 2 - @lawlestest : when Hurricane refused, it was several years ago. Before Blizzard gets a bad reputation. So it has nothing to do with today's Blizzard reputation.
This, this is how WoW is supposed to feel. You are not a GOD you are a Soldier in a massive army(Raid) fighting against these bosses. The whole "Azeroths Champion" is so garbage.
But Legion nailed the whole "Champion" experience, you could see your cult followers, have the coolest artifacts to match your position, challenging the impossible bosses alone, etc. It felt great. BfA's "champion" experience? meh, doesn't stand a candle.
+ Loved when the energy blast got deflected by the energy shield and blasted the opening that we use to get in. + Liked seeing all the armies marching in lakeshire and swamp of sorrows, then going through the dark portal and into outland. - Not a fan of the comedic relief with the human ghost. - Not a fan of that warrior brushing off Illidan's eye-beam then one-shotting him.
Someone said Orb of Deception for the Orc in paladin gear. But Orb of deception used to turn you into a set appearance, not your gear in Horde equivalent race appearance.
Dude, that Black Temple isn't a trailer for the raid, feels more like the trailer for a fucking series, it's so fucking awesome. Definitely feels like what I think WARCRAFT should feel.
I have no idea how he does this. This is using wow in game objects, but a different rendering engine. So much effort and detail in the animation as well.

This has to be tough to look at stuff like that as a blizz game designer... It is beyond insane that community can create better things that blizz creators themselves... Even this trailer has amazing graphic... in WoW it was "never" about a graphic, it is about the feel of the game... it is about how alive those areas feels and how much vibe is created by players inside of the game... and blizz can't capture that, for some reason only "random" gamers who are talented can create IMPRESSIVE content that hits in the right spot of the WoW fan. well freakin done Hurricane
