I have a 2001 Ford f150 4.2l with only bank1 and bank2 lean codes 170,000miles. When I got it it didn't run so I did fuel pump assembly, fuel filter, plugs and wires air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor about a month after I got the lean codes
TIM, long time since u had showed a video i thought you retyred and going fishing all the time well may be soon and as always good information u share brother. cheeeeers
I get the cuestión for you sir I have Ford Explorer 2003 with ralling noise I’m not sure is the catalytic converter or timer chaing thanks for you help
I’m a Chevy Toyota guy but I like to think the best choice is based on so much more than a brand decision. I would buy a brand I didn’t like if it was the right price! They all have their issues for sure. Thanks for the great question and for hanging in on my channel!
I have a 1989 f150. I just noticed my rt rear signal isn't working but brake light and flashers do. Its just the blinker and I put a new bulb in it. Any idea what the prob is? Switcher maybe?
If front and rear do not flash, it's most likely a bad turn signal flasher. I've noticed over the years that it is usually the right side that stops working fist {can;t explain why it does that, maybe it's a longer wire run ?} when the flasher goes bad. They usually have 2 flashers, 1 for turn and 1 for flashers. Be sure to change the right one. Should be in fuse box. Mitchell shows a round one and these often do stop working on 1 side when they fail.
I know why you havn't made many videos, you have to earn money and don't have the time. Or maybe you are pregnant and feeling in a nasty mood he he :-D You do look a bit flushed though and not in a toilet way :-D If manufacturers made maf sensors really cheap, you could have three fitted and let the computer pick the two that agree. You can't have two dead maf's.. ok bad idea there :-D The engine computer in that truck must be stone age, ford need a kick up the jacksie.
Sure have missed your informative videos but more especially, I'm glad to see you alive and well!
Thank you. It’s very good to be alive. I’m doing well Rick.
Thxs Tim at least it was good to see you are good...
Looking forward to finding out why you've been hiding from us. Thanks for your time and effort.
I hope it’s a good enough excuse for everyone. I don’t want people to find out I’ve just been lazy. 😀
good to see you again tin.
Thanks for the video Tim. When computers start making inferences, we will have problems.
You worked the bugs out of that Ford Car Doctor
Hehehe
If he wouldn't of been lazy and done it right the first time and looked into the filter that also could of been the problem also...
Hi from Alberta Canada look forward to your next vids .
Hello neighbor!
whoever designed the canister air filter on 08' f150 needs a severe beating

Check that fuel pressure. Especially if you installed a sub-quality pump. But look at your fuel trims and check for vac leaks, etc. maybe a bad MAF.
Thanks
Send more beer lol . Man to many damn sensor's . Can't wait for next vid be safe .
Thank you!!!

Bang on the cat and see if it rattles. Timing chains are a common issue. Don’t drive it too much before getting it fixed.
Good luck 👍
Enjoy your videos keep them coming!…😁✌🏻
What used truck brand and model would you recommend?

Not typical. Does the front one flash?

Great video
Wrong engine IMO for a full size pickup. Second comment- 140 US for a MAF sensor- yikes.
Why don't yall have ethenol in your gas?
Not EPA mandated as we don’t currently have a smog problem I guess. Also we would have to ship it up here I suppose. Not sure beyond that.
I bet in a cold climate ethanol has a tendency to attract water. It may freeze up fuel system, but just a guess..

Haha. Redundant systems are common in aircraft since you don’t want to fall out of the sky if you can help it. I think a 747 has 100 MAF sensors. 😂
Can't wait to see what you have in store!
I’ll be sure to let you in on it by the weekend. Thanks for watching.
