      Do octopi make noises? Last time I looked it up multiple sources said that they didn’t, which is odd because octopi seem like the kind of animal that would hiss at you.

    It's incredible how we can find such intelligent species underwater. Our crew, for example, found evidence that sperm whales aren't just big - they're also brainy. We show how these marine giants learn to outsmart the whalers of the 1800s. It's fascinating to see their strategy!

    The last scene, where the 🥥 🐙 comes out to greet and wrap tentacles with Spy 🐙 is really telling of their psychological capabilities.
    The researchers may well have saved the life of that octopus with the robot experiment, but they learned an incalculable truth in return: 🐙 are sentient, and they understand altruism.
    That is a *major* revelation. ✨

    • @EyeSeeThruYou
      @EyeSeeThruYou Год назад

      @@billyb4790 I agree, and hold the same positions, too.
      There were several realizations which I came to 35 years ago, which prompted me to move to a plant-based diet. My revelation came at the wingtips and beaktips of birds.
      Revealed knowledge, such as what we witnessed in this documentary, reinforces the fact that I correctly interpreted evidence on which I based my decision back then.
      The growing arsenal of evidence is harder and harder to ignore in terms of quantifying sentience, self-awareness, intelligence, problem-solving ability, tool usage, and communications abilities.
