We put a lot of effort into this one, hope you enjoy the video! And don't forget to use the free pull-up program in our app! 📱 calisthenics-family.com/app/?
For me, this has been a long process and it is a cliché but the real results come when you are constant. I didn't know how to do pull-ups last year. About 5 months ago I subscribed to a gym and started practicing every 2 days at least for 5 mins. The exercises that were more useful for me were the negative pull-up and the Australian pull-up. Now I'm able to do 1 great pull-up (full-body) and 3 regulars. My goal is that in the next 3 months, I can be able to do 10 full-body pull-ups. I don't know if it is too much but I'll do my best.
I can't thank Calisthenics Family enough for their 'How to Unlock My First Pull-Up' video. The step-by-step instructions and detailed explanations make it accessible for beginners like me. I started doing calisthenics a little over a year ago. I’m 43 years old. I’ve never worked out except for in high school. I have never done a pull up before when I started calisthenics, I couldn’t keep my head above the bar for a negative. On Friday I did my first pull up after working the plan that you laid out on this video. This was such a big achievement for me because My pull exercises have been the slowest part of my journey. Thanks guys.

Excellent guidance! Been doing pull ups for years…WRONG and now I see why 6-7 reps is all I’ve ever done because I’ve not been engaging the right muscles. Can’t wait to see results after completing this program. Thank you!
I'm just starting out with ring training. even standing still with ring training is exhausting. but thanks to your methods, I'm seeing progress everyday. thank you so much.
I started with bodyweight workouts on my own at my house, so I already have some basic strenght. But your videos are a big help for me and I see a lot more progress. I’m currently on like 8 pullups and I’m trying to learn a muscle up
This video came just in time as I'm trying to do my first pull-up. With your explanations and tips to progress step by step, it now seems achievable. Just need to get some of these bands.
Thank you guys again for a great pull-ups tutorial.I learned some new pull-ups exercises which will help me further my pull-ups ability. You guys keep me going just when I start to get bored or despaired.Glenn from Boston
Nice video again.. I like it that you also made it a bit more funny. workouts are way easier when you can have a bit of fun in them. Lets see how far I can come with training the pull up.
That was exactly the mission of this video. Combining information with entertainment. Glad to hear, because from now on we're planning on doing this more regularly!
I can manage 2 or 3 but struggling to get past that. I do use some of the techniques mentioned but will try using some of the others...I'm sure resistance bands will help 😉
@@CalisthenicsFamily Yes, the correct way to pull up is to use weights so that the overload is always progressive. But if you are a beginner, don't do this. You have to use resistance bands or negative pull ups Then move on to weighted pull ups. This is very good for flexor forearms.💪🏼🔥💯💥🏅🤝🔝
Great idea, @ivanrivero2695! It's a fantastic suggestion to create content for those who have mastered pull-ups but are looking to progress into muscle-ups. I'll pass this along, and who knows, you might see a video tailored to your suggestion in the future. Keep challenging yourself, and you'll conquer those muscle-ups! 💪👏

Thanks Guys! You're doing some great work out there! Nice vid as usual, I've been kinda stuck at 4/5 pull ups for the past like two months, I basically learned how to do them and now I can't seem to do more. Any advices?
At this stage, you want to be looking at incorporating high-volume days with lots of reps (with bands) and low-volume days with high intensity, maybe even adding some weighted pull-ups!
