- Join me on my exciting first drive in my new Aston Martin Vantage V8 Bi-Turbo AMG Engine! Lots of fun in this one!
This video features the 2021 Aston Martin Vantage and also the CLA45s AMG which is one of the AMG performance versions of the Mercedes CLA. My car is the 2022 CLA45s AMG Coupe but you can also get the CLA45s AMG Shooting brake or even the A45s Hatch back.
The CLA45s gives you that great AMG sound from the AMG performance and also the luxury of a Mercedes Benz

I got the downpipe opf delete done today that I mentioned in this video and gosh! it's a way larger difference than I expected! It sounds so unreal now, wait till you see the next drive video! 😁

@@adamb3272 Sadly the CLA45s will be gone soon yes :( I have just got a few more videos left to do on the CLA45s first. I will be getting my hands on some Mercedes though to keep the Mercedes content coming and maybe still feature the CLA45s where I can. As much as I love the CLA45s i’ve made so many vids on it now so wanted to try something new and fresh.
With so many cars looking so similar and generally jelly moulds of each other, the supercar category still makes all car enthusiasts, stare and and give an appreciative nod. Your AM Vantage is one of those special cars visually, regardless of how amazing the driving experience is no doubt. Gorgeous car and a head turner! Anyway back to my daily "what car could be next" searches on Autotrader.
Excellent video of a bloody stunning car mate! On a side note, as a very early subscriber and as someone who has watched all of your videos, I just love the way that you get such sheer pleasure out of your cars. This gives me a lot of happy memories of enjoying daily driving a rear wheel drive sports car, unfortunately i was young and inexperienced and wrote my Porsche off on a wet day. Be careful mate they are unforgiving, but enjoy it!

Thank you! Lots of exciting content coming! I got the OPF delete downpipes today that I mentioned in the video here and wow... wait till you hear how it sounds! The traction has been surprising better than I expected with the Vantage, I think It's thanks to its great weight distribution. However I am keeping carful to make sure I'm ready if it does ever bite! Just need adapt and not do anything silly in the rain or when the tyres are cold! :)

The CLA45s is great and il always love it. There's something about the drama of the Vantage though that I am really enjoying, I think It's the feeling that you have all that power at the rear and always keeping on your toes just incase. The CLA45s is just an absolutely rocket that I have 100% trust in every time I floored it. This did mean though to get the most enjoyment out of the CLA45s you do have to drive very fast where as with a twitchy V8 you get more drama at lower speeds and of course you can go fast if you dare!
Did you get rid of the CLA45?
Few more vids to come then It will be gone sadly. Still love the 45s but I've covered so much with it now and wanted to freshen things up. Will be some interesting content comparing the Aston Martin to the 45s also! There will still be lots of Mercedes content too

I’m selling the cla but have a few more videos on it coming soon first :) Il try and keep the mercedes content coming too on the channel even when it's gone by borrowing cars and perhaps some fun videos with viewers and their cars. I am still a huge Mercedes fan and want to keep that going on the channel 👍

@panagiwtisleousis8991 absolutely not! :) I still love Mercedes and one of the reasons I got the Aston was because it has so much Mercedes inside and the Mercedes AMG engine too. il be making vids on the new Mercedes models and I'm also hoping to meet with some viewers and feature there cars. Lots of good plans!

That Aston isn’t as good as the CLE 53 IMO nevermind the V8 CLE 63 (rumoured) lots of reviews on that Aston point to bad build quality with many complaints, dated interior and a terrible infotainment system from the dark ages.
Great sound no doubt a great engine but I’m suprised you ditched a newer Mercedes for that, rumour has it most people believe that Aston was well overpriced at launch that’s why Aston were offering fixed £1000 a month payback finance with minimal deposit.
I’ve not experienced any of this so far. Build quality is leaps above anything I've ever owned from my first 2 weeks experience so far. Inside the interior is lovely and I love the button stack, the glass start, drive, park etc buttons feel so nice to press. Quite a few familiar Mercedes bits too which I like. Although it runs a dated version of the Mercedes comand system it does not bother me at all because it has wireless carplay which works great, much better than my wired carplay in the CLA45s. So arguably if you use carplay all the time it's actually a better system than mbux, subjective though of course! The new Mercedes are great but they are very overpriced at the moment and although the tech is amazing I much prefer the simple buttons..showing my age perhaps! The presence of the vantage is just crazy in person too, it gets a lot of attention which is fun for RUclips. I still love Mercedes though and will be trying to get my hands on the new models to feature them on the channel. I’m hoping we can have lots of fun content of my experience with the Aston Martin while also keeping up all the Mercedes content too 👍

We’re currently looking for a new family car. Something quite big because we just got a golden retriever puppy last week too and he's gonna be a big boy when he grows up 😁
