My friend and I got a bug with Far Cry 5 once, we were being Only You'd by Jacob, but a bear attacked one of us, forcing an animation that stopped the teleport. The Bear was gone, and the bliss fog encompassed the entire map, the radio was distorted too. We drove across the map experiencing a true horror show.

Watching this made me realize how bizarre the far cry games story line can be than I actually remembered
Yep, it's like Ubisoft has no idea on what Far Cry stoy should be about lol
There are a few elements that carry over from story to story, such as the drug that so many people keep taking, but honestly little else connects them and the people, with perhaps the exception of 5 and 6.... unless of course I totally missed something .
@@Abrxas01 I feel like they aren’t connected by story’s, but by lesson, far cry 4 and far cry 5 have you dead set that the character you see before is the bad guy only for you to find out there’s more going on. In 4 you discover that as you take the land back poverty gets worse, drugs are more a thing. People are starving. But if you just waited and became the new leader like you were meant to you could of directly changed all that. Leading a our country probably isn’t easy and we only see the one side. In far cry 5 it’s the same, we are warned of a disaster. We are told to leave them alone. We don’t and contribute to tons of death only for Joseph seed to be right and despite all we did to him. He forgives us. Then new Dawn he helps us and the judge who we were helps us. The games lesson is things aren’t always what they appear. They play with our morals and make us think we are in the right when we might not be.
@@metalrain300 Each game is in their own world
@@smillphy4756 the video is literal the games in order by timeline…. Though I guess the never technically said it. It’s obviously implied.
The ending in Far Cry 4 where you wait for Pagan Min really shows how the Golden Path deceives and manipulates Ajay into thinking he has a moral obligation to the people of Kyrat. I’ve been playing through the game a second time and It’s allowed me to pay closer attention to the choice of words in dialogue sequences. The most notable instance that I’ve found of this is before the first Power Struggle mission in the game, where a GP member implores you to break the tie between Sabal and Amita. Ajay replies “I’m just here to scatter my moms ashes” and the GP member expresses how “now you’ve seen the terrors of Pagan Min’s corruption, you have an obligation to help us bring an end to his rule.” Or something along that line.
In my understanding, this is the first sign of Ajay being shepherded and manipulated by the golden path, who I’m sure know about what happened with Lakshmana considering Ajay’s father was their leader.
In my opinion, Pagan Min is the best villain out of all the recent Far Cry games. He’s the slightly Psychopathic stepdad who never gets to see you but loves you all the same. Even when you’ve killed your way to him he offers you a seat and dinner, along with fulfilling your initial goal with your mothers ashes.
Basically you are mad for the character fighting a dictator to death even if said dictator was nice to the main character?
@@atanaZion they're both evils, Ajay has no requirement to help the Golden path. And if he waits he completes his goals much quicker and much easier
@@atanaZion The GP was just as bad if you played the game

Best boss fight ending was in Far Cry 5. Shooting John's plane down. He landed it safely jumped out started to run & got hit by a truck.

I didn't even let him get down, I ran him over with my plane mid-air
I actually dove out of my plane after him. Not sure what I was thinking but just a heat of the moment reaction.

I really like the idea of waiting for Pagan Min to finish his phone call, because if it makes Min seem like a good guy. It almost seems like he's only the antagonist because you were impatient.
I mean Pagan was a bit of both, if you were nice to him he will be nice back
And the fact he's somewhat related to Ajay makes him that much more enjoyable, I literally can't hate him as he's only ever nice to Ajay and he is clearly a man of his word
He's probably the most respectable out of the whole series villians
@@BassBanj0 The in-game lore about him is just downright sad especially with his daughter. Really hits you in the feels.
@@dragonace119 for sure, one of yhr reasons I just can't hate him
I mean, Ajay is somehow related to him so of course he'll actually be nice with Ajay and his backstory is just downright tragic.
On the other hand, that doesn't stop him from committing horrific atrocities (Noore got it so bad) and being proud of it, something he directly admits in Far Cry 4.
I mean its wierd but thats kinda the best ending. The golden path somehow made themselves a worse alternative to a military dictatorship.
Btw, fans found out that Jackal's textures in the game files are named "Jack Carver". So there's a possibility that the Jackal and Jack Carver from Far Cry 1 are one person.

Your forgetting primal
U missed the part in Far Cry 4 where after choosing Sabal/Amita to side with, you find out that they are both war criminals in their own sense and you have the option of killing them.
when do you get that option?...you really only get to side with one or the other
@@trillrifaxegrindor4411 You can kill one of them before the final mission. After dealing with Pagan, you need to visit specific location to trigger special cutscene. If you sided with Sabal, you need to go to Jalendu Tample and kill him there. If you sided with Amita, you need to go to Tirtha and take her out.
@@trillrifaxegrindor4411 You can kill both of them in the same game. This is how it happens
Choosing Amita at Jalendu: She becomes the unquestioned, she sends you to kill Sabal, and there you have the choice. However, when the game is finished after the whole Pagan thing, you must go to Tirth and there you will trigger a cutscene about Amita ordering soldiers to pull children out of their houses and forcing them to become guards for mines and drug fields. When the cutscene finishes, you have the option to shoot her. If you let both Sabal and Amita live, you will find Sabal meditating near a lake and Amita praying to a small idol somewhere near Tirth itself. This will happen as long as you don't shoot any of them so they'll be in their places.
Choosing Sabal at Jalendu: He becomes the unquestioned. When he sends you to kill Amita, Amita has a faction of her own loyalists who are by default hostile and will shoot you once you are spotted by them, and you even lose karma for every Amita loyalist you shoot, before you finally get to see Amita and decide whether she lives or dies. After dealing with Pagan, you must go to Jalendu Temple to trigger Sabal's cutscene, where he is seen executing Kyratis who sided with Pagan, and showing that Bhadra has successfully become Tarun Matara (However no one marries her, refuting Amita's accusations of Sabal being a pedophile). You can choose to shoot Sabal and his guards, however it seems that he's actually pretty hard to kill, and even getting a stealth kill is difficult because you first have to trigger him, but have to catch him off guard before he turns to you. He has quite a lot of health. However, should you decide that both of them survive, Amita is found on a mountain in South Kyrat towards the western corner, but is just a normal NPC and isn't doing anything special like the praying Sabal NPC. Sabal will again be seen at Jalendu, and will actually shoot at all Royal Guard boats near the temple, and since he's hard to kill by Ajay himself, it's fun to watch him keep fighting like a fanatic fighter.
SuperLeosid Damn,I it would be cool for an proper ending where Ajay takes over the Country and then the Karma system could play in and Decide how Ajay Controls the Place, Good Karma shows Him become a good king and Taking the good sides of both Sabal and Amita and Pushing the Country to great places, or the bad karma where he Slowly becomes like Pagan?
Based Sabal gang.

Never played these games before, but I like learning about these stories. The weird thing is I find myself waiting for the character to be betrayed or to betray the viewer at any minute. lol These games graphic are insane, even for 2008, 2012, 2016, etc! My mind is blown!
The reason for Josephs warrant isn't just from the video they show at the games begging, as Burke reads out the warrant is for kidnapping with intent to harm, which comes from a promotional short film where a group kidnapped by Joseph upload a video to youtube telling of how Joseph kidnapped them after they secretly recorded his cult. For Far Cry 4, I personally believe joining Pagan is the best thing. Pagan really until the end, even tho we betray him, he still willing to help us until the end.
Joining the resistance, treat ya like shit at some part like you feel like you just a tool to them.
he saw ajay as a son regardless of his loss he is still willing to make amend and reunite the family he really did he was surprised and sad of his love passing and knew ajay was coming but was disappointed to see jay is being used to get to him. In far cry 6 when u play the dlc u will be able to see that he was a changed man and when he lost his daughter hell broke loose and jay mother fled fearing he will kill jay but the realty was he was never there to kill him he sought revenge and burn kirat to the ground. He knew she is fleeing and didnt stop her cos he thought he could win her back with his step son back but that never really happen and then the revolutionaty group got armed by cia and when all didnt work the cia use ajay as last resort.
And Sabal and amita knows about Lakshmana the step sister that pass away but hide that fact cos if ajay knows about it then the operation the cia set up could go south.
It doesnt matter how much u help at the end the revolutionary group arm militia never show u respect as the great ajay Ghaley or what ever.

He also frequently competes in the Arena, allowing his reputation to grow more as the "New King" of Kyrat. Also Yogi and Reggie likes visiting their old home they previously squatted.

@@tebesnigrum6650 the typical Contrarian shows up of course...
at the end of the game, choosing to do more than 50% of Amita's favors turns the country into a drug-manufacturing dystopian-like dictatorship where children are forced from their families to either fight for the Golden Path or work themselves to death in the factories in the guise of "modernization", meanwhile, choosing to do more than 50% of Sabal's favors turns Kyrat into a theocratic authoritarian ruled nation where everything that matters to your life is thrown in the trash can while the praise of that young girl is the only thing that will keep you alive.

Each MC gets Drugged and/or Captured and/or some combination a minimum of 5 times and *Vaas* was the only person to go "Alright fuck this, you've escaped from me 3 times now; I'm just gonna shoot you myself because 'Leaving you to die' isn't working."
I'm seriously glad 4 and 5 understood how damn stupid it was and just offered outs at the beginning, and I pray that continues into 6.
Iucky you can get into the boat in the ending
The song "only you" gave me PTSD after i finished farcry 5
10/10 game
Far cry 3 was ahead of its time. Its the reason i played 4, 5, and 6. I love lootin shootin runnin and gunnin in these games. Plenty of fun action gameplay and laughs in every game!
I honestly think that waiting for pegan min was the better option
I rate that cuz it’s a typical American attitude to remove the dictator without really looking at the opposition
Feel like the game addresses that in a sense
I just love how canonically the good and best ending for Far Cry 4 is achievable in twenty five minutes, crazy.
how is pagan min reigning the good ending
@@EmperorPalpatine0108 I hope you feel the same when China dominates the world
@@hughmungus9481 well, the golden path is also kinda bad, from what I heard, so do you really get into a war when all you need to do is spread your mom's with 2 bad sides? Seems a bit unnecessary.
@Hugh Mungus Because you eventually find out that the Golden Path is just as bad if not worse than Pagan.
@@hughmungus9481 he passes it off to ajay
What I took from this is that most stories aren't connected, however there is something bigger that does connect them. There is obviously something spiritual going on the dogs have to be the same
this game series seems to love knocking you out and capturing or rescuing you constantly
Far Cry: Instincts was the funnest multiplayer game. The map editing and custom games were insane!
I've had so much fun with that and i still have the Original Xbox i played it on
I'm glad that series like Far Cry and Assassin's Creed have almost in entirety been able to be high quality and extremely fun
After I played FC3 for the 1st time, my mind was blown. Before it I had only played some COD and AC games. The open world of FC3 and the amazing story blew my mind. I consider myself privileged to have come across this game!!
What about 5?
Great video thanks for making this, very entertaining!!
My favorite part about Far Cry 5 is that the end credits (for the ending with the nuke) is We’ll Meet Again. lol
Nice reference to the hilarious yet creepy ending of Dr. Strangelove in where WW3 begins and the world descends into complete nuclear war. You watch a compilation of nukes going off with the song “We’ll meet Again” hauntingly play.
Vera Lynn, the woman that sang that song has passed away a while back too, it was a shame to hear about it
Everyone here speaking facts
Far Cry 5 is my favorite game, I still play it very often. The story in the game is just amazing and the game world is so beautiful. Thank you for making this video!
And that soundtrack!!
@@SpiritHunterDSG Yes! Best game soundtrack ever!
@@JA37Viggen yes fc5 is a great game but sorry fc3 and 4 were more iconic and changed the whole course of far cry ❤️
@@JA37Viggen but I think you are lucky to play those games
@@JA37Viggen I can afford it 😭😭
I’ll never forget leaving during Far Cry 4’s intro because I was called for dinner, and coming back shortly before the credits started rolling
Just a heads up if your watching the far cry 5 one. You can get drugged by any off the underbosses depending what territory you are in.. there's no particular order you get to a certain mission and whatever territory you are in you get drugged or captured
I think Dennis reflects how Jason would be without feeling any guilt about killing while still having some morals, unlike vaas. The only time Dennis realises his actions only cause destruction is when he kills citra.
I played as a woman in far cry five which just made the ending all the more icky
Yeah that is a little bit scary to think about.
But in Hurk’s mission didn’t he say that the cult didn’t do that?
Why? Did I miss something?
@@muddymite4936 They don't do needless adultery. The married members are very much allowed to breed after the apocalypse to create a new people of Eden.
Joseph evidently has some sort of obsession with the rookie. It would be fitting for him to make her "his bride" or something.
@@bigskins5733 A woman locked into a bunker with a man for 8 years. What could go wrong?
Absolutely love Farcry instincts so much it was so fun
Ok, the biggest chad moment in the sereis is when Ajay chases an helicopter, grabs the suitcase with it in the sky, jumps out of it and throws a granade inside the helicopter. That's so videogamey I love it.
It was a plane
FC5 Should have Extend the "Not Cuffing" Ending With Calling the National Guard and Fighting
Huge respect for doing this! You deserve more subs. I'm super excited for FC6.
dude Joseph Seed is intimidating. idk what it is, but he gives me the willies, unlike the other two best antagonists.
Pagan Min is still my favourite Far Cry character. Vaas is awesome too, but Pagan's the only one who I'm like "You know, dude's got a point."
I’ve been waiting so long for this I’m so happy it’s finally here
The FC1 theme song in the bg gives me goosebumps
Man graphics have come such a long way.. it's amazing
I'm just gonna say you deserve a lot more subs because the amount of time it must take to do all of this must have taken forever

Sooo... if MUTANTS exist in the Far cry universe, does it mean the "Bliss" that " The Project at Eden's Gate" uses is a type of mutagen just how "Project Farcry" did but instead it comes from a white flower?
That would explain how people become "Angels," and how you're able to have abilities by coming in contact with it.
Long story short: Magic exists in Farcry
It's not magic, it's drugs. They're Lost in their minds so much that they don't even feel pain, that's why they get up again if you don't shoot them in the head the First time
Well jason brodys tautau powers were magic right?
Far cry 1 was one of my first games, mum bought me a disc of the first one, best memories
My first exposure to the franchise was fC2 and for a year like 2008 - it was elite. I play it every now and then.
FC4 I actually don't blame Pagan Min since he's justified as a love Victim since he loved Ajay's mother so much he cares a lot for his Step Son that he doesn't wanna kill him in all the attempts Ajay tries to put his Mother's ashes in a good resting place, that is why I didnt killed him cuz I honestly feel what he went through by a love triangle Ajay's Mom had with Pagan and Ajay's father
Is Ajay’s mom cheated his father??I don’t understand
@@nothumanff5900 basically yeah Ajay's Mom cheated on Ajay's Dad because Min and Her were having a love moment, till Ajay's Dad found out that she got pregnant by Min he killed Min's Daughters and that's how Min said that he was a Sane man when he went through the ash shrine and came out how he is since the events of FC4

I loved the Far Cry 3 soundtrack, and the tattoo perk tree feature
Thnx I always wondered what the plot of far cry 1 and 2 was and refreshing my memories of 3 and blood dragon was nice too

Riley is actually the younger brother, I’m sure that has already been corrected.
The only villain I refused to kill was pagan min. Dude had swagger and charisma and I just couldn't bring myself to kill such a somewhat morally grey villain.
That, and he was the love of your mother's life, the father of your half-sister, and your step-father.
It's implied Pagan Min raised you quite a bit when you were a little boy, hence him being genuinely sad to hear you don't remember him at the start of 4
@@orobas8080 now that I've thought about it. if he decided to escape de pleur in the beginning, the reason why pagan let ajay do what he want is pretty much to set him up as a leader while casually talking to him and giving him advices. He was never hostile towards ajay, the benigging pretty much set that up
Lol, "morally grey"?
Pagan is literally and objectively the most self motivated and evil minded villain of the whole franchise Who directly takes joyment in being the ruthless dictator he is.
He is not insane or deluded but just plain evil...
Isn't it weird how Willis says he is going to work with Task Force 141 in Russia in Far Cry 3, and that Rush has the TF141 patch on his right shoulder in Far Cry New Dawn? Could it mean that the old COD MW universe is the same as tthe Far Cry Universe?

they could easily do a far cry 4 reimagined or even like side story or something where after you put the ashes next to lakshmana you go and destroy the golden path as pagan min's lead general or something, you decide how the rest of his troops will act through dialogue and actions i feel if done right it could be just as good as the base story was
