I was skeptical, but after a couple of days with the pro, it is legit, it does make each enhanced game 100% better of an experience.

I just got dragons dogma 2.. and my god. Ray tracing set to on and it runs beautifully on balanced and graphics mode!
Turned off the added effects of motion blur etc., but encountered an immersion breaking bug. Finished the initial investigation around Nightingales body at the start of the game and cleared the area of collectibles. When it came time to go down to the lake to see where the victim came from my partner Casey said he'd go with me and the Deputy said he'd stay. Casey never walked off with me and is frozen. Now his voice is muffled and his voice is commenting on stuff he's not even there to see like a ghost. No manual saves as far as I was aware so I'm gonna have to reload the save from over 30 minutes before and have to redo it all just for a chance of his AI doing what it was meant too. Sucks to see this after I just got off the banger that is Control. Edit: got a slightly more recent save from 24 minutes ago now but I may as well wait and just restart when they patch up the pro to look EVEN better as they say they will.
Is graphics mode worth it or is performance better
Depends on if you want resolution or frame rate really. Both modes look far better than they did in the past
Depends if you want 30 FPS or 60 FPS
Hey Dude, I love your content and been following for a while. Would you based on your current experience it would be worth it to upgrade from the first version of the ps5 to the Pro or rather wait till down the line for more patches and dev support?
If you have an Oled Tv it´s a must have. VRR is requiered to enjoy all it´s blows and whistle. People with old 4k tvs barely see a difference though.
It’s nice overhead and it’s more a long term investment for better running games. It’s just expensive upgrade wise as opposed to just being your first current gen Playstation. If you have the money, go for it.
In glad you guys mentioned this because someone in the space mentioned instead of the ps5 pro If you already have the regular PS5 get an OLED TV instead. At the moment I have a regular 60hz 4k TV without VRR. I live in a 3rd world country so OLED is very expensive(price of people's monthly salary) but QLED is more available and not as intensely priced.
The image quality, especially the backround and the shimmering on the base ps5´s performance mode was grotesk. This game convinced me that the time has come to upgrade.

I just don't get that Alan Wake doesn't have a 40fps mode. These slow-paced games are perfect for a 40fps experience.

RUclips compression makes it impossible to display the real differnce even though this channel already hast top tier video quality- RUclips compression kills the quality.
@@svenk5221 bro, I've heard that RUclips compression argument many times now but the thing is, how come I can see an obvious difference with games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Stellar Blade, but not ones like this? Even RUclipsrs who have the console are saying the same thing. This game definitely looks better on the Pro, but it's not a dramatic difference in my opinion.

PSSR is a very mixed bag and isn't too great at this time 💯 maybe after a good amount of updates it'll be more consistent 🤷

I too am a pro owner. I must say I’m very disappointed with the 25% diff in quality between base model and pro. Aw 2 on the pro still looks a mess with the that greasy shimmering shadow effect. Not sure if this is just pssr in its infancy. What I did notice is that the picture is slightly sharper that’s about it. Hoping 1 year from now we can see a little more than just 25% diff than currently seeing.

Sony can't promise anything actually. Every dev is free to use the extra hardware available however they choose.
There's no mandated "if PS5 has a 60 fps and a quality 30 fps mode, then Pro should be quality 60 fps" mode.
