3 tries is crazyyyyyyy this guy absolutely practices what he preaches, take advantage of all the resources the game provides and you can conquer anything. This boss fight took me 40 hours to beat with my guts greatsword, guard counters and dodge rolling. Maybe if I played smarter it wouldn’t have been so frustrating for me.
But at the same time, making things easier doesn't feel fulfilling. I also killed him with Guts' Sword, took me 10 hours first time. The feeling of being "free" was never stronger haha
Took me 79 tries with Dark Moon Greatsword solo. Very difficult fight, but a very different challenge from Malenia, who only had one attack I required a ton (a TON) of practice with, while learning her other attacks simply added to the consistency of advancing the fight. With Radahn, I felt like everything in phase 2 required practice and he initially felt unfair just like Malenia, but learning his dance felt like a more evened out learning curve than just expecting and needing to learn Waterfowl Dance. Past the 50th try I felt like I was on the verge of beating Radahn, and my buddy who was watching me fight commented that when I win, I will have earned it. Good times!
Nah, we've gone way too far in the direction of justifying the use of wildly overpowered builds and mechanics. There's a spectrum here, with naked sl1 runs on one side and whatever this is on the other.
That's why i love the randomizer mod in this game. If you want to survive no matter the circonstances, you have to build a deep knowledge of the game's mechanics and moveset of each boss, and not rely on a very specific setup to even have a chance to beat the boss.
@DeathComeInPeace I beat the last 10 bosses in Elden Ring with mage + DMGS + Mimic Tear and I feel great. Think that's just you buddy
22:44 "It's yours bro, I'm good. You can have it." 😂
this episodes edits are awesome. great job for the editor
My man almost first try all bosses in the DLC
Cohh inspired me to get back into Souls Like and I have beaten Dark Souls 1, 3rd of the way thru Dark Souls 3 and now Elden Ring. ER was easier for me because I took dude's advice and take advantage of everythign and explored every nook and cranny. But that is the beauty of Elden Ring, you can make it easier on yourself or harder on yourself by just going head long into bosses, etc.
Why no ds2
@@mauricioblanco8463 I bought DS1 and DS3 was gifted to me that is the main reason, but also just got distracted by other non souls like game. How is DS2?
@@midoribushittv I like it a lot, it's my favorite. If you have the chance you should give it a try, you may find some similarities in elden ring
@@mauricioblanco8463 Thanks for the reply, I will try it out at some point.
@@midoribushittv DS 2 is very long, especially including the DLC, and it has a lot of forgettable throw-away bosses and a few controversial mechanics that were a miss and were discarded in DS 3, but it has a lot of enjoyable content too! Just be aware, especially if you play the Scholar edition, that it is easy to wander into some early areas which seem really hard and were intentionally made that way in the Scholar edition to steer you away. Also, a few DLC bosses were an experiment into co-op tuning and may feel overtuned solo. But if you've experienced the other games, everything is certainly doable! For PvE, I consider DS 2 the worst in the series, but that STILL means it's a great game! The PvP was great, and still considered the best by some.
i like the style of these videos, but i would've like to atleast have seen his reaction to all of the remembrance bosses, i don't think i've seen 4 of them in these videos
Its crazy how this game beats us all in different ways .... I beat rellana in like 3 tries and messmer's first face deatroyed me for hours until i figured him out and then took me only two tries..... I think his first face and radhan second face gave me PTSD.... In the embrace of mesmers flame its engraved in my brain
I would have never guessed that prayerful strike would work well against radahn. Might have to try. I’m completely stuck on him. I’ve tried 3 builds, each about 15 times. Still haven’t gotten him past 10% health to go. I’m also level 365 with 20 scadutree leveling.
learning the moveset is more important than your build, 15 tries isn't really enough to give up on a build unless it's something like dragon communion.
Don't give up dude it took me 4 days to beat Radhan and his boyfriend sibling idk how many hours but when it was over I felt like a million bucks .... And immediately started another playthrough hahaha I guess I didn't suffer enough
For 2 seconds I thought Cohh started to stream on youtube😅

I will say, the second phase music with the bells, goes so unbelievably hard
I didn’t even notice I feel like the consort is almost supposed to be a mix of Radhan and Messmer the face when he looks up in second phase is Messmer
Wooooooooooooo i freaking love this series
watching you main the throwing hammer has made me reconsider my build, lvl 400 always looking for new ways to play and throwing a hammer and flipping? come on
been watching for years, since 2015 probably, when did fallout 4 drop? anyways! i appreciate you dude, still here watching 10 years later, wish i could sub dude, i will support any way i can!
Finale the END!!!🎉
I hope you plan to cover the "EUROPEAN CITIZENS’ INITIATIVE - Central Online Collection System: Stop Destroying Videogames" by the RUclipsr Accursed Farms - Ross Scott, as this needs as much coverage as possible to spread and succeed.
it feels like this is something you would have some thoughts to share on?
Super sayan radahn IS Crazy epic as It is unfair😂
I’m stuck on the load screen and can’t get back into the game just came across your content great stuff man do you have an info on this ? I did most things online reinstall game clear cache and rebukd database
350 hrs plus an was thoroughly enjoying the dlc just got to the cerulean coast
The Bonk 😮
I literally can only beat him with parries and a gs
lol summoning is just too op
Why cut the cinematics? Makes it so frustrating to watch with all the cuts
I really love your voice and commentary ❤
Love from Pakistan
yeay
Opinoin on the last boss? Is it fair?
With shield? Yes. Without shield? Good luck, pray to God, and hope for the best xD
you can do without shield, but you gotta dodge a lot ;d if dont play some bleed build, you will be dodging a loooot xd
With a shield it's pretty comfortable to learn and master. Of course, if you commit to learn it no shield of course it'll take longer to learn.
There's only one BS attack that doesn't do much damage, the rest is avoidable and reactable.
100% fair
I did it Solo with a great sword(No Shield), and it took me 3 hours to finally beat him. The dude is an absolute monster.
This DLC really blurred the lines between what's fair and not. Commander Gaus, Golden Hippo and Rahdahn were the only 3 i stoped having after a certain point. @Ecclesia_
Scadutree levelling is possibly the worst thing I've ever seen designed.
So to go back to your original actual damage you were doing before DLC relative to enemies, you need max Scadutree level, they are found in the world like collectibles AND apparently you are a loser if you go collect them all and don't beat all the bosses at maximum scaudtree 18 or below, it makes a toxic community, even more toxic in an RPG where you typical grind xp for levels now levelling is redducing to finding hidden objects....
"Best DLC ever" my ass theres load that wipe the floor with SotE.
I love these highlights packages but I think you're cutting out too much. We didn't even get to see you fight..well... a lot of bosses.
Guy literally edited it to look like less tries, see skipping video. And the fact he knows, on "first try", first encounter, when to roll dodge the holy aoe shows he's done it before.
With that said, last boss fits cohhs playstyle as an adversary, he was built to block. Sucks for dodge builds, but as long as you can block his combo strings it's a lot easier.
I don't like that the culmination of such an open ended game makes this fight so laser focused toward big block when that's really never been done.
I agree with most of your comment, but he did livestream this and kept a consistent death counter on the top right. 15 total deaths at the start, 19 at the end, and a consistent 15 through the entire first run that was shown. The vods are available for proof if you want
@@Alcamore yeah, you're right. The boss was pretty much built for cohhs build. I play dex with no shield in all souls games, so last boss was kinda lame for me. Never had to respec to beat a boss in souls games. I think it'd make sense if the boss was like a roadblock for things to come, but being the end of the game it seemed kinda pointless to make him so targeted toward a specific build
@@blake33x you don't need a specific build, there aren't any bosses in the whole game that needs a specific build, some builds just requires more skill than others against different bosses.
@@Ghorda9 Yeah, that's true, but just saying I've played and beaten all souls games, sekiro, and bloodborne and this boss design was probably the most targeted at being designed to be fought a certain way than any. Typically, a design like that would be to teach the player so they could use them in coming fights (like dps check bosses in mmos if you've played those), but for it to come at ghe final boss is a weird design decision imo.
using summons , what a pleb
Your life is a joke you care how someone who actually bought the game plays go outside lil princess
