How can I setup this indicator on ThinkOrSwim charts? Is there a way to identify and draw the HH and LL trend line automatically or script it?
I like the buying setup. Everything makes perfect sense. The issue is when to sell. You should not wait until RSI gets to 10
or 90 depending on a Buy/Sell order. A stock may consolidate
for weeks and then your are stuck.
l use 6 MA as a sell trigger when price falls and BB when rises.

Once you have some good gains, setup a Trailing Stop
and problem solved. good gain means R 1:2 for me

I have a question on something you said in the video. With Reference to going LONG. setting up the trendline. You had said: when drawing trendline from peak of HH to peak of LH, that the line begining for the HH should be the highest of previous swing points. When you said all previous swing points how far back are you talking about? I'm a smallcap intraday developing trader. I have been using this strategy intraday on the 1min and 5min time frames. I have been doing very well in fact. I'm just wanting to check on the one fact about the previous swing points.

When, I have checked this way of trading by using MACD, I found lots of opportunities are being missed and the wait time for this breakout is much long. so it is better to clear the time frame we need to use in this type of indicator use.

You can either use the indicator and signal lines or the histograms. Most people use the indicator and signal lines. You're looking for the two line to reach their extremes before they cross each other. Clear as mud?
What are the settings for the moving averages on the macd?
My experience is that for intraday forex trend trading most important relevant (Guide)trend direction is ON 15 minute, 1h and 4h charts only-- For intraday trading weekly & monthly trends do not matter much(too far removed from intraday field of activity) & can be ignored. For simplicity sake if 15 minute ,1h & 4h trends are in the same direction, you have a trade set up in the same direction (one could fine tune entry 0n 5 minute charts). In general if daily candle be in the same direction for any trade it is better but not A must.--Sir, what do you have to say ?

Yes, useless without this info! Also the chart he used as an example, something from 2013. He should use something recently, make projections and see if will work.
In the "EMA-Heinkin Ashi" Video of Trader DNA, it mentioned using higher time frames, not under an hour, because fees/commissions will take your profits.
Most MACD indicators by default set to 12, 26, 9.

Just to add, I do use the 70 and 30 level on the RSI to identify where to buy/sell while respecting the trend. Add the 200 EMA and it becomes even easier.

Могу порекомендовать практически 100 прибыльную стратегию - MACD и ADX - когда MACD идёт вверх и D+ с ADX идут вверх (для большей уверенности D+ должна пересечь 20 уровень), то входим в лонг; для шорта - MACD вниз, а D- и ADX вверх. Плюс для ещё большей уверенности цена в эти моменты должна быть выше (лонг) или ниже (шорт) 50 ema.

what's the win rate on 100 trades? has this been backtested? what's the average number of consecutive wins before a loss? it's all very well identifying a strategy, but until you know the win rate you're entering a risky move
Read my comment above. The way shown in the video will accumulate too many losses. Use the adjustment I describe and your win ratio should go above 70%. If your win ratio falls to 50% or below, then you're no better off then just guessing because a 50/50 ratio is no different than flipping a coin.
