I'm not gay but I think what you're saying and going through is something anyone can relate to. Learning to be your true self and "taking all the layers off" is a really difficult thing that I feel as though most of us probably deal with every day whether we realize it or not (myself included). ❤
Just ordered my Longbois sweatshirt and I love the styling, it's a whole vibe that I'm in love with. I've honesty never thought about your sexuality, you're pretty, you played video games, you're into plants...it never mattered. You were just cool and I enjoyed your personality and love of plants. But seeing you truly happy and feeling like you can be who you feel you were meant to be....that's awesome. Not for me, it doesn't affect me, but for you. Kaylee, 32:58. I think for a lot of us 🌈 there’s a period of ‘coming out to yourself’ where you realize stuff like yeah. I thought I’d never like apples coz I got oranges. But then you’re like- naw. I can do me a good apple. You know what-flannel is great! And you find yourself, or rediscover yourself or what youve kept in the closet are things you always wanted to have out in the light. It’s a wonderful happy period when you’re safe. Honestly I think everyone should experience that. Your weird is okay- if not absolutely adored by others because it’s what makes you, you. I think if more people got to experience that, I think there’d be more happy people.

I found my second kitty, kinda. She was under a car at a gas station I stopped at, at 4:30am. We had been looking for a companion for our boy, and I rescued her and brought her home, shes the biggest cuddle monster and turned out to be a wonderful cat.

We did the exact same thing! My partner and I adopted baby calico brother and sister at the beginning of COVID, since we were stuck at home!
Best decision of our lives! They are the sweetest and smartest. It’s weird how I know what they want and they know what I’m saying. They follow me around, knock the food box over when they are hungry, and so much more. I’ve never seen normal house cats act so dog like! lol ❤😂

Honestly, your comment about just trying to become who I felt like I am supposed to be inside, resonated so hard with me! I came out as a teen as part of the rainbow club, but even still I'm trying to scrape off layers I let society and expectations cover the majority of the true me and I've been trying since I made it to my 30s to find the real me again.
Thank you for feeling comfortable enough to share with us as much as you have. You truly are one of my favorite channels to watch and each little tidbit I've learned of who you are personally behind all these plants has only made me feel that even more

I know I’m late but although I’m not a 🌈 member, I’m a huge supporter! My mom came out at over 50, and it took a lot of work to make her feel comfortable (even though she raised me to be very supportive of everyone!) but I just love that you’re happy!

Yay! One step at a time, everyone’s on their own journey and it’s your story to share when, where, and how you feel comfortable. It took me years to slowly come out to different people in my life and every single conversation still felt like a mini leap off a cliff with my stomach full of butterflies. Haven’t regretted a single one though! 🌈

I have devon rex cats and they are exactly the same, my boys 16 years old now - never bit or scratched & sleeps in bed under the duvet every night with me - gorgeous boy 🥰
I agree. Ive always had rescue animals but last year I bought my first non-rescue puppy and it was simply because where I was in Australia there were literally no breeds in the shelters that I wanted. There were basically about 3 different breeds available and non suitable for our house. Adopting is great but providing a good home for bred pets is also good.

@arches00 ~ Sometimes things just fall into your lap. We decided we were ready to get another dog after our previous one had died about a year before, and we were going to go to our local Humane Society to adopt a rescue. Before that could happen, we got our current dog. Our neighbor, a college girl, had gotten a puppy and after about a month she realized that, between work and school, she just didn't have time for a dog. She knew it wasn't fair to the dog, so she came to me and asked me if I'd like to take her puppy. She knew we'd give it an excellent home because she saw how we treated our previous dog. It was the type of dog we were going to look for anyway, a Chihuahua, so of course I said yes. So, sometimes things just happen where an animal needs a home.
I have been watching since the beginning and it has been a real joy seeing you and your self confidence grow and really come into your own. It's an inspiration to see how much you have accomplished and i love that you feel truer to yourself. Thanks for sharing! 🌈🎉

"I'm not changing, just taking the layers off". And doesn't it feel GREAT? I'm not a member of the Rainbow Club, but I am a member of the Freedom Club. Meaning that I've stopped being who my family/society want me to be, or think I should be. I didn't break away from the shackles until I was 36, and I haven't looked back or had one regret. Edit : I'm 56 now.

No shame in buying a cat. I've rescued both dogs and cats all my life. And for once, I just wanted a purebred Maine Coon. I thought about buying two, but then I saw this gorgeous little boy who had been born into a rescue situation. He's white with tabby spots and resembles a miniature Norwegian Forest cat. So now we have a pair - they moved in a few days apart and love each other a lot. Your boys are so pretty!

I can relate to taking the layers off even in a slightly different way. I am a programmer and only after 5 years I start dressing more cute and feminine. Not because I wouldn't feel like that before, I dressed like that until I started working. I was just so worried that I would be taken less seriously if I dressed cute. That people may think I am trying to achieve stuff through dodgy ways, you know what I mean. I am the only female in out office of 50 programmers.

🌈🌈 I didn't realise what was "wrong with me" was that I was actually bi until I was 26yo. I am married to a man, have been since 24. Now 28. Admitting that realistically I have a stronger preference towards women made everything in my life make sense. We have worked through it and we have an amazing life. But having the realisation later in life after committing to a male partner has had big challenges.
Must say though I didn't even know you were of the rainbow persuasion when I found you a few months back

I'm here again, as promised, to ask about the orchids. Are your jewel orchids still alive? Did they die? Did you try any other orchids? It's really common for people to gift you Phalaenopsis when they know you're into green stuff. Did that happen to you? Please address it in one of your future videos, I'll keep asking until you do.
