- Hello, this is Taermone!
Today, I'm making a brand logo
with stained glass.
I received financial help for the logo and video production from the company.
The technique for stained glass uses
lead to connect the glass pieces.
Glass has a certain texture,
so shapes that go against the texture of the glass can cause it to break easily when cutting.
This is why parts with big curves are carved out.
The thick solder joint part itself is also the charm of stained glass.
The design of the work itself changes completely depending on how you make this solder wire. It also takes a lot of time and consideration.
In order to preserve the brand logo as much as possible, I eliminated almost all soldering lines and tried not to use that many separate pieces.
I was extremely careful with the glass pieces that I had thinned out while reducing the margins so they wouldn't break.
It took twice as much time.
To summarize the long explanation,
I wanted to say that it was a really hard project.
It may look simple but I was able to preserve the brand logo
because of how hard I worked on it
and it came out the way I wanted so I'm satisfied.
This applies to all art pieces, but especially stained glass
is much prettier in real life. Please keep this in mind.
