Unfortunately it’s been pushed back from the beginning of this month to the 9th of January next year so still have to wait for about another month before I can get mine in Australia but hope you enjoy your copy through ❤️

"Hopefully when all 26 are released.... "
Let me stop you there... most of Patrick's time is largely missing. So are great portions of the Hartnell era. Also the idea of releasing the black and white era stuff on blu ray its utterly ridiculous.

      Why's that?

The notion of marketing "the collection" that uses season numbers and then not including the first 6 is even more ridiculous. There are plenty of black and white films on Blu, why would you assume they won't release them? The missing eps are a problem, but they are slowly being filled in with animations and seasons 1, 2 and 6 are close to completion already. There is zero doubt that the early seasons will come so long as the Blu ray sales remain good.

@@codyw1 Because in the case of those black and white films, you're talking about master prints on 35mm or 70mm film stock. In the case of the BBC's archive from the black and white days you're talking about video tape projected against a wall and then filmed onto 16mm. So the quality is very poor, you're not goign to be able to upscale that or improve it at all. And given say season 4 is pretty much entirely missing, i can't see this happening. No way.

@@IsaacWhittakerDakin Sure, but I think "completists" should be realistic. I mean there are large gaps in the DVD and VHS collections, so doctor who fans are very familiar with the vast amount of stuff thats missing - I think 96 episodes at the last count? I might be wrong.
