Here are your Robert combos for The King of Fighters XV! This combo guide has all his basic bnb combos that should help you out and its great because Robert's stuff is pretty straight forward!
Robert is a "shoto" on gorilla steroids, think what Ryu can do and then amp it up a few times over and you got Robert.
THE FIREBALL TRICK: After forward plus light kick command normal, if you do the fireball motion you are probably gonna get a shoryuken. To prevent this, do quarter circle forward, up/forward instead! otherwise known as 2369. The up/forward basically writes the shoryuken out of the buffer and then you always get the fireball!

Here we are with some Robert bnb combos for KoF XV! When you think Shoto, think Robert as near the top of that chain cause he can do what a shoto can do, but on gorilla steroids. Fireball, shoryu, tatsu? Sure! Also command grabs and the ability to break the rules of combo structure in the game on top of it why not! 1) You pronounce Robert "Row-bear". Do not use the peasant pronunciation of the name as he is a man of class and culture 2) Sorry things slow over last few days on the channel! I basically hit the near-burnout point after almost 2 weeks of hardcore grinding out vids and all the tech/labbing I had to do. So pulled back a bit and just chilled with some friends. Now I have rested a bit more KoF is coming!

Great tutorial, I went into training with Robert and I really wish all KOF 15 characters combos were this easy. I definitely see myself using this character most of the time.

I’ve been practicing Robert 60-70% damage combo but man landing one in a real match is tough lol.

I can literally only get the gun kicks to work after the command kick like 10% of the time ughhhhh
Robert feels like a humongous improvement over his previous incarnations. He was a beast in AoF series (many times better than others due to his reach and speed) but his KOF incarnations have been so-so since he usually plays 2nd or 3rd fiddle. It's interesting to think that the now default XV AoF team is so player friendly.

Anybody having online issues on pc ? Can't seem to get into game at all... My NAT ports are open.. I dont understand 😕.. Other games work online
There is some issues online on the PC version unfortunately, however its known and the patch should be live in a few days
the many reasons why I main Robert as well on my team
Another way I found that works for f+lk into Fireball is to input the quarter circle and then press light kick and light punch directly after (since robert has no qcf Kick special) . The fireball motion is still buffered. The timing has to be correct though for the fireball to still be in buffer.

Thx a lot, this tuto was great but it would be even better if you put voice commentary like u always do instead of subs, becoz its a bit hard to concentrate on watching the combos while reading the explanations at the same time

Hello rooflemonger! I realised at 1:08, the inputs for light fireball at the corner is different. Is this the inputs to execute the fireball consistently? I tend to get uppercut most of the time.
yes end the fireball in up-forward to prevent you getting the uppercut

I’ve never played a KOF game ever before but I did however play street fighter 4 at a pretty high level. Would you say this game is worth picking up as I must say it’s looks so fucking good
It’s frustrating to learn, but so much fun once you do. As long as you’re able to do the hops, you’ll get a lot from the game
@@i.ftekhar 2 days in and it’s pretty tough, combos so much aren’t the issue. Switching from a slow pace game in street fighter and then going to KOF is crazyyyyy. Seems like a good game once I figure it out

well they are doing it wrong because if you just wanna toss fireballs many other characters are better at it
Well they’re probably beginners and still figuring out how to play Robert and the game. I myself still learning how to play Robert properly. Sometimes i just do basic zoning with his fireball and DP anyone who jumps which is still working lol. But sometimes i do more rushdown, jump in, and whiff punish with his command normal > EX tatsu > cancelled into supers. Nonetheless playing him is fun :3
