So hard to find a good remote. All I want is one that is android/nvidia compatible, full keyboard with back light where the characters light up as well (nothing more frustrating than a full keyboard where only the letters and not the characters light up) at least 5 buttons for IR learning, air mouse, and lettering that does not wear off after a couple of months.
I had that one you recommended i hated it, didn't work properly with my Android tv box. So I bought the wechip instead (the one you don't like) and it's a great remote. Takes a little while to get used to but it works solidy and battery life is also great
I checked sorry I tried so many apps.... But one thing I remembered they were not updated that's why I stopped using the aps and bought a hardware remote
people like the 5/10 one because it has a keypad and most importantly air mouse function. Nothing personal but your review completely misses the point of why people want a third party remote/keyboard for their tv.

I don't use my shield anymore as I like to look at comments on videos and RUclips on Android TV operating system doesn't show comments... So frankly I would look at Amazon for remotes but I prefer voice search to typing.. And the other thing to look for if you want backight or not and or rechargeable batteries. Sorry I can't help more but I'm not using the shield as I mentioned. But thanks for your kind words
@@HowardPosener no not with the shield tv version. but it is okay i found a blue tooth remote that works for it. there are two usb ports for the pro version
Yes the backlight is useful but I found it drained the battery more and I found the other that I suggested is very clearly marked...and I don't watch in a very dark room. But thanks very much for your input

but nvidia shield tv has no usb port? so how can you use any of these remotes to do more than control volume/power other then the app on the phone?
I haven't used my shield for some time but I recall there is at leat one usb port. Please update me
