I like Drew He is a die hard Bama guy. Nothing wrong with that. Saying things like Pruitt is a better defensive coach then Smart is his opinion. He probably should say they are comparable. Thats just Drew. Tends to hold a grudge. You have to like his fire. Some think he can be over the top. To me if you can take some of the stuff he says with a grain of salt he is humorous as well as informative.

@@MadMaxx1977 The same teams comming back minus a few players on our offense a couple on defense other than that bamas loaded, i can see 50 + points & our defense under womack will be fast & furious lawson, campbell, moore, domani & whoever else steps up, i want to see how a new & improved proctor guards 4 jalen, when he had time he was good he was accurate but when he didn't have time you could see where the problem players was ones gone seth & proctor he's lost weight, overton from a&m he's a beast but now he's wearing the scripted A, i can't wait overton on the line, jalen is comming out hard i hope everybody keeps talking a bout him more fuel 4 the 🔥.

Alabama was a young team saban said this every week but we made some bad mistakes against texas still kept it close until the 4th qu you could see how young bama was to spite the o line being our weakest o line to date, that young team went 11 & 1 beat uga to spite what naysayers & espn said made the playoffs & was one play away from beating mich, now this same team minus a few players has gained experience, you can bet this team wants to prove that they are ready to shut up fans & get back to the playoffs win this thing 🏆 ROLL TIDE!

If anything positive happens this year for Alabama it's only the roster Saban left behind for him. These players will make his staff look better than they are but the grind of the SEC will eventually take a toll and I highly doubt he can bring in the talent Saban brought in during his second tenure, he'll be fired after his second season!

@@myronallen2237 You are wrong about Penix at Indiana. He redshirted his first year. His redshirt freshman year he put up numbers just as good as he did at Washington. Guess who was his offensive coordinator that year? Yes, it was Coach DeBoer. When DeBoer left after that year, Penix went right back to mediocrity. After four years at Indiana, here are his stats for his final year there:

Is there any wonder why he transferred to Washington to follow the coach that caused him to have that one great year at Indiana? Because he reunited with Coach DeBoer he lead a previously mediocre team to a 25-3 record, led them to the national championship game, finished second in the Heisman voting, and was a high NFL draft pick. You know Michael Penix was in Tuscaloosa helping Alabama recruit during those big recruiting weekends last month. Why don’t you ask Penix what he thinks of Coach DeBoer.

So I was enjoying listening to this guy….UNTIL he said Pruitt was a better DC than Kirby Smart 😂😂😂. That’s terribly disrespectful and completely wrong! Kirby Smart is a top 3 DC of all time in all of CFB! He’s arguably THE best! That was such a disrespectful, nonsensical comment. Bama won 4 NCs with Kirby at DC! @@stevesmitherman7244 Pruitt had a great 2-year run after succeeding Kirby, but he never repeated that defensive success without a roster full of players inherited from Kirby, and Bama hasn't had a Top 10 scoring defense since that time either. They came very close once or twice, but that's still a shocking fact considering the talent they have had on defense every year.
Pruitt was a better DC than Smart. Kirby is overrated when it comes to Xs and Os. Our defense, and secondary in particular dropped off significantly in 2013 after Pruitt left, and never really recovered until he came back in 2016. Since 2013, pretty much every good offense Kirby has faced has hung 35+ on his defense. Kirbys defenses cost us NCs in 2013 and 2014, and would have cost us in 2015 had Kiffin and Saban not bailed him out in the NCG

Pruitt is the best High school physical education teacher and Kirby is the head coach for the top ranked pre season team and won two of the last three Nattys. Pruitt did nothing at Tenn but cheat, get vols on probation, lose, and then fired teaching High school. Hahahaha
He said the thought Deboer knew the x's and o's better than Coach Riley and that he was more well rounded. No one knows 100% if hiring Coach Deboer was the right move but for a coach who is 104-12 and has won everywhere he has been is a snapshot of his ability. Also, Coach KD now has more NIL, talent and resources. I tend use coaches records as an indicator, until we see their team on the field. Bama has the #2 recruiting class in the country, so I think he is doing a fantastic job... so far.

KD has won a lot, sporting an impressive record, but don't forget Sioux City is NAIA powerhouse and he won 3 of the his last four national championships before the Fresno State job. Covid 2020 season and was 3-3. He lost as many games in the 1 shortened season 3. as he did in NAIA 67-3. So although technically it's football but it's not a fair fight. Two years and 6 losses he's gone to Washington. Mario Critsbol left for Miami and Deboer has two winning seasons plays in the title and now he's following a legend. Nobody's talking about his team was someone else's recruits and his recruits aren't even starters yet. If this was his third or fourth season with his players then different story in my opinion.
And that other guy who isn't as good as the ALABAMA coach, Riley. Well he's just been at Oklahoma and USC with about 4 Heisman winners. They don't have any Heisman in NAIA. As far as Pruitt and Kirby, ain't trying to hear anything about that, King Kirby all I got to say

An analytics company that evaluates and ranks coaches has said that Coach DeBoer is the best game day coach in college football. Alabama’s coaching staff is an upgrade over what we have had for the last 3-4 years. That is the number one thing that caused Coach Saban to retire, he could no longer hire the assistant coaches he wanted because at his age they wanted to know how much longer he was going to coach and he couldn’t guarantee that. This staff is recruiting as well as Coach Saban did. Get ready for Bama Dynasty part two!

Deboer didn't get measured in Fresno State 12-9 in two seasons before jumping ship and now he's left as again after 2 years. He sports a sweet record because 67-3 or 5 at NAIA powerhouse winning 3 out of 4 Natty and lost in Semi Finals the fourth. They don't have or play scholarships and two hand touch. He'll be gone in less than three years cause hes a Yankee and nobody playing for him. Friez will Dominant Deboer. Kirby made Saban retire my side 1-5. Saban won't coach if he doesn't have the best player in every position.

Jalen responded like a spoiled brat acting out and pouting when he was criticized by the coaches after his poor performance in the Texas game and then was sat for the next game based on his poor response at practice. I have no doubt Milroe will get the chance to start but he will not start every game. Simpson is a better qb for Deboer system. Jalen still has the same issues, holds the ball to long, poor defensive reads, weak on intermediate and short passes etc
