I can confirm these are my favorite set I’ve ever purchased. I’ve owned iems in the $4,000 range that don’t compare to these. Softears really did something special with these! Great review! Cheers.
@@Mixail747 I think they are worth every penny and the retail is market fair. Nightjar Singlearity is more and not as good, Xelento, every other single DD is more money.
@@tonedeafmonk I agree. I received them a couple days ago and they have put my u12t and Monarchs 2 to the boxes. After half an hour of comparing them with Xelento 2, i packed the Xelentos and sent them back. I just cant stop listening to them, what an amazing timbre, space, realism. They put me on a live concert with every song, no matter the quality or genre. Softears have some magicians in their team for sure.
@@tonedeafmonk so if i have limited budget, i should skip the other stuff like Fan2, 10th Anniversary, etc. and just get the Twilight and DTE900? Which one should we get first?
Do you prefer the Softears Twilight over the Plunge Audio Unity? Both are on the warmer side. Have you heard the Softears RSV? If yes, where would you rank that out of the three?
I want the RSV haven’t heard the IEM tho. As for the plungies they are what you want them to be they are that moldable with sources and cable/tips The Twilight is warmer by its nature and the Plungies are simply purely Uncolored in any way
@tla5503 No the plungies are special but the Twilights are musical and colored. New Plunge Audio stuff on the way tailored more for the Audiophiles and less for musicians.
The stage is the most unbelievable 3D I have heard in any set. The time they spent tuning the front and back chamber and the big front vents make this one unique. I have also heard wonderful things about the Sony so I don't envy your decision.

Amongst IE600, RSV, S8, Variations, SA6, Zen Pro, FH9, QDC V14, the Twilight is my favorite IEM.
Wow quite a statement that I totally understand you listed some heavy hitters there too!
These have been on my list since Michael Bruce gushed about them. Hopefully one day I’ll score a second hand one for like $500ish.
I paid $800 CAD and worth every penny for me.
500ish is what they should be priced to be competitive.
@@Mixail747 right on lol. I wonder how much better it is than Falcon ultra

Shanling makes a great dap, I have the m3 ultra and I love it.
I like the smoothness big difference between my ESS dacs sometimes nice to have.a choice I feel blessed.
Nice video for a standout set.
I think you will love it
Intriguing! How do they compare to the DTE900?
It's unique and special in so many ways , this set and the DTE900 are my two favorite sets

hmm, sounds like the plungies can replace the twilight for you if you have different sources.

Hi meanwhile Did you find a « better for you » iem than twilight ? (I bought it loved’it lost it and now ? ^^)
The Himalaya has shelved the Twilight as my single DD winner.
Ty !
Thank a lot ! All iem drivers kind together and up to 1500 what would be your advice ? Still Himalaya ?
@guillaumedebunge9130 Yup Himalaya for me
@@tonedeafmonk thanks !
So…….. did you like it?? 😂
Another great review Monk.
First time I’ve seen you tongue tied. 😊
😁
Been waiting forever for someone to remake the Twilight in a different shell. That look is just not it for me.
I haven't heard the Singularity and I hear polarizing opinions
