  • 50 Cent just revealed that Kendrick Lamar and any other artists who performs at future Super Bowls, has to pay. This comes as a big shock to tons for people, because everyone thought the exact opposite. The artist is suppose to be paid for the gig and not the other way around. 50 Cent also gives his take on what he thinks about Lil Wayne not being chosen for the New Orleans Super Bowl halftime show. In the video, Nasho goes into detail on how or if the performer is compensated for their performance. So it looks like Kendrick Lamar will be paying a nice fee to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show.

    We already knew that. They give the artist the platform and the artist use his/her own expenses to set up everything. This is why i believe Kendrick will wait probably until the SB season to drop his next album just like Usher did. It will boost his sales.

    Rihanna Fenty makeup made $5.6 million in 12 hours after the Super Bowl, her music went up 211% in on demand streams, and 390% in digital songs sales
    So they're definitely getting paid, after the fact
    ALONG with gaining new fans.
    It's a complete win for the artists.

      @absolutedivineNYC 4 дня назад

      All of those things may be true, but in drakes case I don’t think it’s a win for him doing it. Probably Wayne because he’s not as active in the industry currently like Drake is, but for Kendrick, it’s huge exposure he definitely and desperately needs

      @@absolutedivineNYCDrake thought he was as big as the Super Bowl. Drake is the fakest hip hop artist whether he make a good track or not. Tryna xpose kdot 😂 degrassi as fake clowns. Second Drake thought he had mob ties It was like seeing a Nickelodeon star Drake and Josh is gangster 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    • @DonovinStewart
      @DonovinStewart 3 дня назад

      To address the actual comment, hell yeah they gettin paid. It’s at that moment when they’re “big as the Super Bowl” like MJ or prince. Drake wants his flowers and his cake and his presents long before he’s done anything for hip hop that matters

    • @DonovinStewart
      @DonovinStewart 3 дня назад

      Other than get Wayne’s blessing. Probably Wayne’s biggest regret at this point. He told him stay out the street shit stay Canadian. I guess Drake heard stay Clownin

    • @absolutedivineNYC
      @absolutedivineNYC 3 дня назад

      @@DonovinStewart okay, none of what I said had anything to do with a Kendrick vs Drake, but that’s where you showed your hand too early. You are so obsessed that it compelled you to compare them, and I also saw you this MJ and prince in there.
      In the case of MJ and Prince, they are performing artists. If they are doing music, of course they are doing it for the love of it for the superbowl because they want to. They know it doesn’t affect their pay check but the exposure, sure.
      Btw, MJ doesn’t need the Super Bowl to sell his records globally. That is a fallacy and only folks that never left America thinks that countries outside of America doesn’t know about Michael from touring, global record sales, etc, so in the case of Michael AND prince, they do it for the love of it, less than the exposure afterwards.
      Kendrick isn’t Michael or Prince in terms of global recognition and for you to mention them in this context is so silly it’s ridiculous.
      Drake doesn’t need that exposure, and sure, he could do it for the fans, but how does that change the needle or narrative in terms of how some people may see him?
      However you view Drake, it has already been baked in before this year, because Drake has always had the public view in two different camps on him.
      Some like him, some hate him, and that is how life goes.
      One thing is factual though, is that someone who’s sold 170 million records worldwide doesn’t disappear as easy as y’all want him to, and that’s the delusion.

    Like any investment...
    you may be out of pocket.. initially...but in the long run, that money, and more will be recouped. Sometimes you gotta pay money, to make money. At least that's how i see it.
