    P.S. Good tip on the burlap as I just planted some succulents in a moss square wire basket but the soil is slowing slipping out :O Will have to re-do it using the burlap-THANKS!

    The chicken who comes wandering in behind you at 2:54 made me laugh... Almost like when you see people walk into frame on the news and they freeze and shuffle to the side lol

      +Jazmine ThePuppy Haha! That chicken was on the loose! It got out of it's pen and I found it rooting around in the compost pile after we finished the video! :)

      Smart chicken! We've had escapees before. 18 chickens currently and 15 more babies coming... They love the compost pile!

    I see the site offers the wreath form with and without the liner. Is there a reason you prefer the moss vs. the liner? Not sure which I should buy. Can you offer a suggestion?

    has anyone found the living wreath forms in Canada? I've looked at a number of places with no luck, and all the online ones are from the US and either don't ship to Canada or have very steep shipping charges. I'd love to find one, this is beautiful!!

    I absolutely love all of your videos!! You are inspiring! I want to do a wreath like this but I do have a question. When you made the lady's mantle wreath you used the instant green moss mat roll, and in your pansiola wreath you used the preserved sheet moss that was soaked in water. Which one do you prefer more... using the moss mat roll or using the wet sheet moss pieces with burlap??

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 лет назад +2

      I'm not sure that I have a preference- they're both easy to use. If I had to choose, I think the preserved sheet moss is a little easier to use because it is easier to form around the plants and tuck into any bare areas. :)

    I love burlap. Could I line with only burlap? No moss? Should I double the burlap?

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 лет назад

      +Tim Vander Mey You could, and doubling it would be a good idea for extra durability! :)

    Will these become leggy after a while? Can you trim this to keep it compact? It is beautiful as is.

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 лет назад

      +Maria Gillihan Yep, trim as needed to keep it tidy! Fertilizing and the proper amount of light also helps keep the growth looking full and healthy. :)

      +Veronica Rossi Not creepy! haha! ;) I am at my parents in this video! They live in the country, so it's always nice and quiet (plus they have an AMAZING garden). We are right in the middle of moving so our place is a total mess! We move in to our new house the last day of April! So excited! ~Laura

    So pretty! Are pansiolas the same as pansies?

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 лет назад

      +justinneangeline Pansiolas are a cross between a viola and a pansy making them more tolerant of heat and they bloom longer through the season! Plus, they are zone 5 perennials! :) Amazing little plants!

    Is a 16 oz bag of moss enough for only one project or would there be some left over? I want to make three but don't want to buy 3 pkgs of moss if I don't need to. The living wreath form she lists is 16 inches. Can anyone help me?

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 лет назад

      +Paula Herbert Depending on the size of your wreath form, I think you would probably need one bag per wreath form. It takes quite a bit to line it! :) Have fun with the project!
