Beretta 92 выпускается в США, была на вооружении армии до недавнего времени пока Zig не выиграл последний тендер. Полиция использует различные стволы. Нет централизованных закупок. В полиции в основном Glock и Zig. В штатах масса отличных пистолетов производится и продается. Нам до них как до луны в смысле конкуренции и предложения. Кстати те наши товарищи, которым разрешено было выбирать все сидели на Glock до 22 года. Те у которых есть деньги до сих пор пользуются Glock. Я имею ввиду спецов. Спортсмены в основном на CZ....

I was shooting PLK and Viking. I liked them, but I can't say they better than American guns. PLK I can compare with P365XL, Viking shoots well, but have very strong recoil spring, hard to rack the slide.

M4/M16 = are Carbines that can do SMG work. (Because it replaces a Battlerifle M14 and Garand, also a fullsize cartridge 5.56x45 a smaller one but not a cutdown)
AK variants are SMGs that can do Carbine work. (Because it replaced a SMG PPS-43, shortend cartridge 7.62x39 shortned from a 7.62x54r, ak 74s came in 1974 with its own full size 5.45x39 cartridge still a SMG replacing a SMG that can do Carbine work and not the other way around)
Thats the inherit difference simplyfied.. (apples vs oranges)

Intentionally building a handgun with an inferior barrel to prevent the use of high pressured ammo, verses just stamping on the correct barrel...High Pressured Ammo. Prohibited...or however you would say that in Russian..??? I guess they figured if the gun blows up in a users hand, they'll get the message on high pressure ammunition....

PL, PLK and Udav. Those are all Russian handguns which are modern and quite good. All others are outdated. I shot most of what is shown here, including Udav and PSS. My favourite was Tanfoglio 😂

As a Russian of course i like our firearms. But. Me favorite is Italinan revolver "Rino". I just like it, cant do anything about that. In Russia we had prototype AEK-906, almost the same as Rino, but never go into production.
Similar to the problem under Putin with the Armada tank and the SU-57, good design, but the money earmarked for production went into the leader's pocket instead.

T14 Armata is the first tank being built in the same way as WE the west build OUR tanks!
So no wonder its goes this slow. all the issues with tanks are NOT brought up during design but are fixed as a afterthought like we do all the time in the west.

There is a reason to why the west makes so big screwups all the time.
Even a Nato general warned UN about this when Russia ramped its T90/T72 productions instead of the T14.
If you dident know, yes you can actually see 90-95% of all UN meetings online as a private person as theyre public.
T90m (gen2), T90Bm(gen3) and T72BMS (gen 3, perhaps even theres even a gen4 now) ARE being made at a rate of 1200-1500 tanks a year.

Sovjets had the T34s and the KVs, and a alot of tincans.
Germany could take out the T34 from 2000 meters and T34 had to be within 500 meter mark.
But they had ohh so many that they simply swarmed the Germans.
And Sovjets won all of the largest tank battles and saved all OUR combined butts in the end! (not the US or the UK)

When the Sovjets left EAST Germany in 1989 (fall of the Berlin wall, all papers signed etc.. and 1990 germany was Germany again, all Sovjet/Russian forces was gone by 1994)

With their present barrel metals, and the crappy quality of their ammunition manufacturers, they maybe be lucky to get 5000 rounds Max, before the barrels get so scoured that the rounds will be like shotgun shells. Saw this in a training video, where the rounds were so poorly spun, that they flipped in about 100-feet.

The Russian guns are so much better (not) that most Russian IPSC shooters prefer to use a CZ shadow. There is a fair amount of Russian pistols being recovered from Russian corpses inside Ukraine. They are not valued much by those familiar with those pickups and Western Glocks are more popular. Some of the recovered pistols are the older Makarovs which suggests Russia is digging into their stockpiles as the newer pistols become scarcer for front line officers.
