- Here is my rundown of the 15 best Beatles acoustic songs performed with just a guitar. Though I don't play many of their songs on my channel, The Beatles are one of my all time favourite bands and these songs are trickier and more complicated than most people think!

When you move your guitar, your t-shirt changes shape and John and Yoko make funny faces.
Yeah it occurred to me about half way through filming that John's face was mostly hidden so I tried to get him in shot a few times.
At the beginning, it looks like John is bobbing his head up and down to the music!😂👍🏼
I can’t unsee it!!
Yoko already has a weird face lol
driveman? why not Taxman:p
Every Beatles song is acoustic if you're good enough
Revolution 9 begs to differ.
@@oliverhand9408 Revolution 9 is the easiest song for the acoustic since you don't have to play anything

What a great time to realize that there are STILL Beatles songs I've never even heard of.
Scott Gammon you are so lucky, all the great discoveries ahead
Yes. So I began to buy all the albums. And discovered songs who were not on the red one or blue one or on the collection Beatles oldies And all the songs were not in the albums. Just singles.
Scott Gammon sinner!
Child of Nature isn't the most obvious one 😅😅 still great but relatively esoteric in their discog
@@countalucard4226 I’d do anything to listen to their songs for the first time again
Norwegian Wood deserves more recognition than Wonderwall when it comes to 2nd fret songs.
Norwegian Wood, Good Riddance, Wonderwall. The big second fret three.
Most songs deserve more recognition than wonderwall, it's completely overrated
BoxCarJoe, do people play good riddance with second fret capo?
Wonderwall.
Lyrics that make no sense and therefore are "profound".
Riiiiiight.
Wonderwalls boring.
6:32 john is nodding his head in approval
jajajaja lol
Haha best comment ever!
😂 brilliant

Axel Axelsson who's the first ? Matiboo ?

With horribly skinny fingers
Ja ja yhea you're right..why, I have no idea.
What I like about this channel is the video just starts with the content right away. No one needs your life story. Excellent style choice.
Indeed. I hate the channels about guitars where some moron is using a phone on a stick on his face for about two minutes before getting to playing.
great
I missed I've Just Seen a Face though 🙂
Agree! I'd ditch Revolution 1 - not much happening there (though a great song on record). Here Comes the Sun needs the bridge riff and ending too, IMHO. Ditto George's licks in And I Love Her.
Here is the face👴

you can if you practice
If only the guitar could be so lucky,
You SUCK at guitar if you cant play those songs. (No offence.)
The Beatles aren’t the hardest group to cover like seriously guy I’m sure you could learn there songs I mean I know most of these songs on guitar or ukulele
A lot of Rubber Soul ones.

Glad to see that you put Michelle and Girl on the list . Some of my all time favorites by the Beatles
Mine too!
MORE BEATLES!!!!!!!! They are the best. I'm from Liverpool and all you hear is their music and it's amazing they inspired me to play guitar. One channel I recommend for very accurate instrumental covers is Ably House, they spend hours and days trying to get the songs down note for note, identical to the record. From each little nuance to each minor mess up or hickup in the song! Great video Blocksy
I've heard of ably house, Love Their Cover of "Hey Bulldog"
heard all these songs a million times and I still sit n watch cuz its satisfying to see you play them so effortlessly...
My favorite is Across the Universe. Thank you for the nice playing!
Thank you!
Yes, the essence of what a beautiful song is and you played it very well.
I wish I had pixies acoustic versions
Good idea.
BanjoLupus333 I love Pixies
Nigward the Holy Spirit same
YEAH PLEASEEEE, OR THE SMITHS
That would be awesome.
Great list. I put “Norwegian Wood” & “You’ve Got To Hide Your Live Away” at the top personally. I’d add “I’m Looking Through You” & “We Can Work It Out” too. Seeing Paul do the latter in concert acoustically showed what a great tune it still is when stripped down. Hell though, they’re all incredible...what’s important is that the music is introduced to the young and the unfortunates who’ve somehow missed out. Putting out vids like this ensure that continues to happen. Thanks for doing your part to spread the love, and for helping to retune and bring comfort to the ears of the uninitiated.😉
Norwegian wood is such a tune
Andrew Cox it’s fantastic! IMO
My brain automatically played the synth sound in the middle of here comes the sun.
Congrats for playing Blackbird, Norwegian Wood, Michelle, Julia, Here Comes the sun, Yesterday and so many other diamonds of the Beatles - unreachable!!
Started watching these videos about a week ago. Can’t stop. Love the content keep it up dude 👌
Awesome playing, your audio is also always super crisp, great job as always!
Thanks! I appreciate it.
@@bloxsy_ What mic do you have? Love the sound :D
Excellent stuff as ever Mr Bloxsy! These are all ace songs as well, I never get bored of them.
I’m really enjoying the acoustic videos! Keep em coming!
Beautiful video, man! I'd love to see this done with John's solo career!
Loving the feel man! Keep it up 🙌🔥
Damn why'd you missed Dear Prudence and I'll Follow The Sun 😥
I was going to do Dear Prudence then realised it's not really acoustic so I did Child Of Nature instead.
@@bloxsy_ Child of Nature isn't a Beatles song but it is a John Lennon song ;also the video plays but you don't the opening picks of And I Love Her which gave me the impression of music in the background but I could be wrong. Anyway I enjoyed this take on a band I've been following for 56 yrs.
Both are not acoustic
@@earthsiege77 True, and there are some parts on Michelle when the sound comes before the strum
Wow this is a really cool video, you’ve clearly spent a lot of time learning and perfecting these songs, vive la Beatles
Thanks you!
“Long, Long, Long” deserves a nice spot on here
WOW, I REALLY LOVE THIS❤❤ You're so talented😍😍
Thank you.

Julia and Michelle is heart warming to listen to! Fantastic video mate! Beatles forever!☮❤

Good, my favourit is and i love her
Nirvana have a cover of that song
boris nachev Kurt Cobain*
Pat Metheny covers on acoustic brilliant ✌🏼
I might have changed the order a bit, but there's no complaint with your playing and ability to capture the songs.
BTW, I for one, really like the shirt.
Who else knew Yesterday was gonna be #1?
I taught that Blackbird Will be #1
I thought here comes the sun will be first
I was thinking blackbird, here comes the sun, or mother’s nature’s son would’ve been first
*ME* yesterday ❤❤
Me, partly because I read this comment beforehand.
Interesting how you play Blackbird using the actual chord shapes of G Am and G. I've not seen anyone else play it like that including myself. As simple as possible two fingers for the whole song is how I play it and the common way I see it played. If anyone was curious about what chords are used, the way you play it they are very apparent.
Yes
Brilliant man, loved it.
Thank you.
I thought that "A day in the life" will be on the first place but how can we forget about yesterday :)
Just brilliant, thank you
been too long since I had a good Beatles listening session, thanks :)
"Child of Nature" fue un tema descartado de la época del viaje a la India que fue el germen de "Jealous Guy", una de las grandes canciones solistas de John Lennon.
La versión acústica de "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" apareció por primera vez en el Anthology 3, y fue adaptada, con acompañamiento de cuerdas, para el show "Love" del Cirque Du Soleil.
Thanks man.... Huuuggee Beatle fan. The close up of Michelle is incredibly helpful.... Great channel!!
Thank you!
The first full Beatle song I ever learned on acoustic was "A Day in the Life"...I know it has that Paul part with the piano in the middle but you can still play it on acoustic...what do you guys think??
Me too
I think the first Beatles song I sat down and like learned was “Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite” because I felt it was often overlooked but had some cool chords
Matt G I play that song on my ukulele all the time. It’s a really fun song to learn!
@@mattg3537 Sounds like that would be a tough one!
The original versions of some of these songs weren’t actually acoustic. That’s why I’m impressed you were able to take on the challenge.
J’adore Paul McCartney ❤️et ce qu’il a fait avec Les Wings ❤️...
Can you share the TABS please ? I was looking for some the beatles riff I love and you played them all perfectly 😭
Great. As always.
La perfección hermano !
When you know which song is no.1 but you still wanna watch. Michelle is my no.1 though
Maravilloso trabajo!...se nota mucho amor y respeto por la música de The Beatles...gracias por compartir tu talento...saludos desde Argentina...
Awesome
Keep up the good work, dude👏✌
Thank you!
Great choices and playing. i've been working on Yesterday a lot lately and it's deceptively tricky; the rhythm is a little hard to get. Thanks for posting.
Well Done Sir! This is Great! 👍🏻
Thank you sir!
Yes!!! I loved the acoustic WMGGW
Two Of Us is one of ny favourite songs!! I play it on my uke all the time, great song!
Nice playing man, very good!
Thanks!
Yo, how did you do the little riff between chords in "and I love her"? Beautiful btw. I appreciate your skills so much.

I missed a few songs, but great Video! 👍🏻
Thank you.
Lucky for us, John & Paul brought their acoustic guitars with them to India.
Who sang here comes the sun at the same time ??
Two of US
Girl
Julia
oh hahaha, it was just a list of the songs that interested me the most to learn
Simply excellent!...
Nice collection. I've played most of those since they were first released. Here's a good trick for Norwegian Wood. Put the capo on 2 but only on the bottom 5 strings so the 6th string is an open E. Then put that note into the song to give it some "in tune" bass. Don't play it in the "Dm" part of the song but it works on the "G" (ignoring the G is actually an A because of the capo).
I'll have to try that sometime.
Just tried it. Sounds cool with that extra low bass... thanks for the idea!!
I've always just played it in dropped D tuning...
Great job!
Thanks!
Minus my favorite songs: here there and everywhere, if I fell, a day in the life, This Boy, ask me why, I'll follow the sun, Till there was you, I will, long long long.
Girl, Norwegian Wood, you've got to hide your love away, all amazing masterpieces by the legend John Lehnnon.
Great, man!
Thank you!
I remember seeing the film HELP and the song YOU'VE GOT TO HIDE YOUR LOVE AWAY being sung to actress Eleanor Broone while she was sitting on a bed and being sung to either by John or Paul. Love that song, still after all these years.
It's Bron, the song was sung by John, George was sat beside her on a settee.
Great video!!! Of course Yesterday #1 lol. Rocky Raccoon!!!!!!
That pinky sneaking up at 2:12 made me laugh... I think I’m ready for quarantine to be over
I didn't even notice it moving like that until I looked back at it. It's like a worm or something.
You and i have memories, longer than the road that stretches out ahead
What kind of acoustic are you playing? Sounds pretty good and you don't see quilted flame tops too often on them.
Thanks. It's a Blue Moon.
Great playing - Thanks!
Great stuff ! You are very talented. Plus your fingers are very long ! I wish to one day play 1/4 of those . Started playing about 6 months ago and at 59 years young it is a challenge for sure !
Thx again nice work
Thanks very much! I'm sure you'll get there. There are plenty proper tutorial videos on RUclips that can help. Best of luck.
Excellent ! Great channel and content, I'd love to see you do some dinosaur jr! 🤘🤘🤘
Thank you. I've been meaning to do some Dinosaur Jr for ages.
You inspired me to play Yesterday on my channel, love from Spain
Nicely done. 👍
Thank you very much.
Great job Man. Congrats. And Imho

#2 Across the universe
#1 Blackbird

I love this video ;-;
Absolutely Amazing man! What guitar is that?
Bravo Sir 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hey man great video, do you have the tab or a video of where you learnt these songs cause a lot of them don’t have accurate or good sounding sheet music out there.
I mostly learn by ear and it gets me in trouble sometimes when I play it 'wrong'.
Gran vídeo, me encantó
Brilliant vid✌🏼🙏🙏thanks
Useful to follow & play 🤠🌈
Thanks for watching.
You are my hero 👏
Michelle and girl are incredible
this is how i know i found the good side of youtube!
Excellent !
Nice job 👏
Thank you.
Definite thumbs up for this video! But I don't agree with the order of things, Mother Nature's Son and Blackbird deserve to be in the top 5 for sure.
How do you play revolution 1?
Great list, thanks man! John Lennon's Child Of Nature (never officially released by The Beatles) was included on the Imagine album as Jealous Guy.
Wow. Amazing.
Thank you.
Good job mate !
Cheers mate.
You should do one of The Cranberries, if you didn't made yet. Great video by the way, my favorite is Revolution 1 or Across the Universe
Perfect!
