The Last Day of Metroline Operations on Route E6

Today is the last day of Metroline Opreating Route E6. It is currently opreated at their Greenford[G] garage with the allocation being Enviro 200 Darts. Tommorow it will pass to Transport UK London Bus. With new Wright Electroliner GB Kites. It will operate from their Dawley Road[DH] garage.
The E6 travels through Yeading Tesco,Willow Tree Lane and Hayes and Harlington. The peak veichle requirement is 11
In August 2008, the 8.9m Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts were replaced by brand new 10.2m versions.
On 26 May 2012, the route was retained by Metroline.
In June 2012, the Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts were replaced by MCV Evolution bodied MAN 12.240s.
In November 2013, Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts were reintroduced.
On 11 June 2016, the allocation was transferred to Greenford (G) garage and the route was converted to full Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Dart operation.
On 27 May 2017, the route was retained by Metroline.
On 2 March 2024, the route was temporarily withdrawn between Greenford Broadway and Greenford Station.
On 25 May 2024, the route passed to Transport UK London Bus operating from Dawley Road (DH) garage using existing Enviro 200 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E20Ds and Wright GB Kite Electroliner EVs.
The route will be restored to Greenford Station from 15 June 2024.
Brand new Wright GB Kite Electroliner EVs will be introduced from Q3 2024.
The route will convert to a full Wright GB Kite Electroliner EV operation from Q4 2024.
