Round 1 : Maverick breaks down Bobbys character really well but no real haymakers. Bobby stumbles through his round while threatening to hit his opponent again.
Round 2 : 'Youve not got monster ink just because that screaming give you energy'. Bobby went pretty ham here his approach was great but not executed or written as well as Mav.
Round 3 : Mav really broke down his character well again, rapped well with some decent wordplay. I think Bobby kind of fell apart in the 3rd, spent half the round battling the fans.
I think its kind of a robbery tbh Maverick really out rapped him throughout with decent bars and a solid performance whereas Bobby really didnt have much going for him other than his energy and going deep in the second.
Unbelievable battle from both, shame a crowd wasn't there going nuts at some of these bars.
Actually edged this to Mav but can't complain at Bobby getting the W.

Just watched this back... I still feel like Mav took the 1st and 3rd.
Crazy battle. Mav has all the pieces in place, he just needs that one big win to push himself over the edge. Bobby just has that added seasoning right now.

I think Bobby's angle where he claims that Mav exploits his family troubles doesn't actually make sense. So is he not allowed to feel sad or be effected by his loved ones being in hospital?

I'm a Bobby rex fan, but Maverick beat him here I think. Mavericks 1st was really good. His third was better than Rex's too.
Good battle but Mav was absolutely robbed. I feel like if any top-tier battler had spat the exact same rounds as Mav they woulda got the W... Mav definitely one of my faves in the scene rn tho, great writer and great performer

This bobby is so much more enjoyable than the unan bobby. Great battle
Bobby bodied that second, but lost the first slight and third by a lot (How can any judge give Bobby that third?!?). Mav's strategy was better and he pretty much said exactly what Bobby would do in every round (The punch bar, talking down to him for the gun bars, deserting the fans etc.) and I think that should count. So well, not a total robbery as it came down to the first, but I would have edged Mav.
I like where shotty is taking it. A squad full of big man. Bring them to the states though, we buy all of the guns of the planet.
I think bobby rex is terrible but he wasn't bad at all here. Also it's the first time i heard maverick spit and i was impressed. Good battle

@@SpyroTek I'd probably say in general tbh. URL battling has been awful (Don't Flop for example) throughout this pandemic so it's refreshing to see irl battles, even if they don't have the crowd.
@@Dewsta26 It is a great battle so I'm not angry at your opinion. It's fair. I've definitely seen some better battles on other leagues though this year, but that's just my opinion.

Maverick needs to change his approach..dude can rap but doesn't have many punches & wasn't as direct as Bobby. Bobby always direct & has that presence.. him & Cojay gonna be 🔥

Mav is the best of the newcomers. Bobby surprised me. He hasn't had a performance this good since his first couple of battles. Keep it up this is the Bobby Rex we wanna see!!!
yoooooo! that was epic, Thank you once again Prem for proving battle rap isn't dead , At first after Mavs first i thought Rex had no chance, He completely spun it and stood his ground and redeemed any negative past action as well as proved everyone wrong including myself , I used to hate Rex , If i ever meet him will tell him straight thought he was a prick , after seeing and hearing him come back time and time again I realized he is a Phoenix and raises up. Perhaps didn't notice myself because I was still wallowing in the ashes myself instead of taking on my new form! Maverick is soooo talented and after Bobby's second he done so well to bring it back his second was epic too! He is a true penman and has so much skills but Rex edged this and made some history. What a Don , I tip my hat to you REX! huge respect both battlers are fire! last of a dying breed is true! keep with the real lyricism people , real recognize real!

The reaction I saw on the forum made me think Bobby’s performance was incredible... like he was good, better than recent battles I guess, but by no means do I think deserved the hype I saw online from this battle.Mav needs to learn to pause to allow people to react. He’s so quick to start the next bar he doesn’t let people process or react.
He had a fire second, but wasn't feeling anything in his third.
Goes to show how low the bar is set for him at this point

It just me or are some of the uk vs uk clashes recently just mimicking mannerisms and angles from smack battles so much so it’s just cringe and unnatural for the battlers just stop.

Best U.K. battle in a while. Rex finally back on form kind of, could do better but was funny, never heard maverick before, good bars but sounds quite like soul. I prefer bobby style but good battle

The short rounds defo suited Bobby more as he's more of a puncher, mav likes building his schemes, taking nowt from Bobby thou. He needed the win and he got it, but mavs defo got big things ahead of him......
