I think Michael's navigation through social awkwardness and answers were really good for an uncomfortable person lol. His redirection and asks to switch gear son the topic of conversation was so gentle and superb. I genuinly think aside from the dry humor, these types of videos are a master class in communication.

The amount of people not getting it was a short bit that is low key a CeraVe ad. Michael Cera has been giving out CeraVe bundles with his picture on it clearly on some gorrila marketing meme. She didn't "Make it too weird" it was clearly designed to be a storm off for clicks...
I think it's actually quite genius and props to Bobbi for pulling it off so well. She took a page out of her buddy Rick Glassman's book, who I'm sure has better than average retention during his ad reads. But I don't recall him having a stand alone 9 minute ad where so many that viewed it still don't realize it was an ad even though in the first few seconds the video literally displays an ad hashtag. That is impressive.

I think you've gotten very aggressive with the interviews it doesn't flow like the first 2 -3 episodes when you started. Yes things have changed for you but if you kept the same energy from back then, these kinds of interviews would be more entertaining and less forced!

Going to an interview where the interviewer is being passive aggressive and micro analyzing everything I do or say and pointing it out doesn’t sound fun or worth the money to me lol. I get it’s her style but it doesn’t seem like a joke if she’s pointing out actual things about the person. It’s just getting paid to be rude to people.

I think her dress sense is a bit off,I think if she actually attempted to have a semi normal conversation so we learn more about the person while keeping the uncomfortable awkward vibe as well,constantly criticism of her guests isn't entertaining for long periods,can lose interest quickly

I think these interviews are lacking punchlines. Watch the ‘between two ferns’ with Hilary Clinton if you wanna see a great example of knowing your guest, and steering the conversation to deliver a proper punchline.
I like the dry comedy style, but there are just no good ‘aha, you didn’t see that one coming’ moments.
