Jamal is a great interviewer - calm and professional gentleman. Omarosa appeared relaxed and she was able to share her story with no interruptions.
I'm thinking subconscious racism - I find it remarkable that she is a goldmine for interview hosts, yet they cut her off every sentence.
Exactly. Unlike that highly heated debacle on the Today Show with Ann Curry's replacement who just came out left and right and wouldn't let Omarosa finish a sentence (let alone a thought). Omarosa is much more at ease and settled now and she's making the case that she can be debated and Not become unhinged (pun intended) at a moment's notice. I'm not necessarily a fan of Omarosa but she's making me one.
Sunday Omony , yes many times whites judge us as unprofessional people, but when you view all people who have interview Omorosa, you can tell exactly how the professionals are and who are not.

This is the first interview in which she's not been ambushed with a thousand questions all at the same time, she actually got to take her time an explain to us what she's trying to convey. I thought this was one of the best interviews thus far, whether I agree with her or not.

Finally, an interviewer who not only asked the obvious questions. Very well done. You dogged deep and has a heart to heart, not one modified by popularity.
One thing I learn about Omarosa is that she comes as it gets. If you are tough, she pulls out her reality prowess and if you go easy, she stays relaxed. She is not the devil that people paint her to be

The best interview I have seen!
The best interviews with Omarosa have been with Trevor Noah, Craig Melvin and Jamal Simmons. Notice a pattern here? They are calm and as respectful to her as they are to other guests, and because of that, are able to extract all the tea. Others seem to allow their racism? jealousy? love for Trump? or just plain incompetencies interfere with effective interviewing. Congratulations guys!

I was a welfare child and i know exactly what Omarosa is talking about. I did the same thing.
I never thought I would say this but Omarosa's really growing on me. If she's putting on a performance (obviously that's on the table as well) the academy awards are 6 months away but I think she deserves another chance (don't we all?) to right the ship, so to speak. She will be working on rebuilding those bridges from this point on. Any further indiscretions could lead to a total collapse of redemption on her part. I can't wait to hear some of the other tapes and documentation she has stored away.

Very good interview. But some of this stuff she says Is not believable to me. I am not concerned about her. She is making her money telling different things about how she grew up with Trump. Making accusatory remarks about Trump's relationship with his family. Crazy things to start up a conversation and get paid.
She was embarrassed to use food stamps in her youth . . . but her proudest achievement while in the White House was to lobby for pell grants to historically black colleges! Food stamps and pell grants are in the same boat! Government handouts to the poor! If she was embarrassed by food stamps . . . she should be embarrassed by pell grants!
Suzette Aljanabi - yes, it is a shame to be poor now! Especially in the United States where opportunities have been in abundance since the days of the colonies. However, poverty in places (such as third world countries where the Roman Catholic Church, Islamic and Hindu religions have kept people ignorant and poor for centuries and time periods, like Catholic dominated Ireland in the mid-19th century with the potato famine . . . because Jesuits priest told the Irish Catholic not to talk to Protestants. America's poor now are a result of the Welfare State as a result of FDR and LBJ . . . the Democratic Party has rounded up the poor and put them in housing projects and given them food stamps . . . in exchange their votes! Abraham Lincoln and the Republican Party emancipated the slaves . . . and got the slaves off the plantations. But the Democratic Party put the African Americans back on 'the plantation' with the Welfare State via FDR and LBJ . . . but in the form of housing projects and food stamps . . . in exchanged for votes and scare tactics like "if you vote Republican, you might not eat!" And apparently, you didn't pay attention to the corruption in the Democratic Party during the 2016 election with Hillary Clinton being in the pockets of Wall Street! And during Hillary's stint as Secretary of State . . . look at how much Bill Clinton was paid for speeches to big corporations . . . not because his speeches were earth shattering . . . but because of connections to big lucrative government contracts!

Her justification seems to be that there are Academic arguments when needed.
