I have been using Chebe for about a month and it has definitely helped with retaining moisture.
Honestly loving it
That's good to know...
@@wiseblissnp
I bought some from Bellbar organic, haven't used it yet tho.
I'm using the one from Uhuru Naturals that claims to be sourced from Miss Sahel. It smells horribly like it's burned but I just mix it into my conditioner and sometimes a very small amount into my moisturizer.
@@keishad.3020 Uhuru Naturals based in New Orleans? What is their website?
All the henna stuff has been working
I restarted a healthy hair journey in November 2017 with weekly glosses. My hair is healthy and full enough now i just use bi monthly henna treatments and hair tea. I use the fenugreek oil 3x a week. The advice totally worked. I've got fine thin hair and its filled up (hair type 4a/4b)
I mix the chebe with beef tallow, and ghee. Along with essential oils for smell
✊🏽✊🏽 I use chebe mixed into shea butter 😍😍 and I only use it on my refresher days! And oh my goodness the level of moisture during these cold winter days is astonishing!
Ashley Poston where do you get your chebe from?
@@moniquesummers2469 I ordered it off Amazon
Ashley Poston - Do you use the shea butter/chebe mixture like a conditioner, where you leave it in for a certain amount of time and then rinse it out? Or do you leave it in your hair until your next wash day? I'd love to hear details if you don't mind sharing. Thanks!
Wow spill the deets....
Do tell.
👊👊, I use several of your henna recipes and my hair is thriving along with keeping my hands out of my hair. Keep bringing us good valued videos, please and thank you very much. Have a blessed night.
I just got my chebe in the mail and am looking forward to making a deep conditioner with it. This video is super duper helpful! You are my go to girl for DIY hair elixirs! Thank you for being you!
You're welcome and thank you.. x
I'm sharing this because a lot of Zambian ladies have been interested in chebe.
Thanks for the video
💪🏾 I am in love with chebe from belle bar. They just make the right combo my daughters pretty 4c Hair was So shiny and soft after I washed out the conditioner I used. I only added a tspn as directed, a little product goes a long way to a basic conditioner.
OK, Downtown Julie Brown vibes. Wubba wubba wubba.
✊🏽I’ve used that particular brand and it’s great. Two years ago when I transition to natural hair my friend recommended that I check your channel out and I’m happy I did, your process and what you teach help me to grow my natural hair! Much luv
Your hair is so long and beautiful. Everyone's hair grow at a different rate.
Hello Curly Proverbs! I was wondering if you were willing to do a Q&A video soon. If you are, I have a few questions I was thinking about.
1. I know you use certain bases for your masks, such as water, aloe vera juice, coconut milk, etc. How do you feel about green tea or black tea as a base?
2. Do you use lighter oils like apricot seed oil, argan oil, or hempseed oil? Are these good replacements for oils you use in your routine? My low porosity hair does not respond well to castor oil or coconut oil.
I made a Neem mixture. The smell was very overpoweringly earthy. I bought some peppermint oil. It worked to counteract the smell into a pleasant odor and the mixture actually made my hair SOFTER. Yesterday was my glorious ME/HAIR DAY. I pre pooed, hennaed, I use the Trader Joes Tea Tingle (clean)Conditioner (not a leave in, but works for me), oil and cornrowed. I decided to cornrow overnight, because it stretches my hair out. Today I am going to two twist. I trimmed my hair two weeks ago and I swear I have new growth already. 😎😎😎😎😎😎.
The coming week I will be getting my fenugreek seeds and I will have all the ingredients for the fenugreek oil and the spritz. I look forward to trying the Chebe recipes later in my hair journey. Curly thanks for all the work you do for all of us Natural Curlys Girlz. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Girl I got happy just reading about your hair and self care rituals ❤️
Curly Proverbz Trust me you have truly inspired me. 💯💯💯
Me too (just trimmed and it looks like I didn't). I did about three inches, if not more, and I'm not missing it.
Keisha D. Two twisting now. I used to keep my hair cut super short. The front was the shortest. Today, I am twisting the front into the next twist, going back. If that makes sense. 😂.
Not even going to lie haven't watched the video yet but I'm already hyped because I know it will be informational. lol.
A M I’m already ordering it and the video isn’t over.
@@TracyD2 I know right lol. same here
Can you do a updated wash day for your daughter. I have no kid's, lol but I do have lil cousin's and niece's .
I have actually been thinking one is due xx
I'd like to share that I infuse chebe oil in my Shea butter mix. I apply the butter and cover my head for a few hours. I rinse with warm water. Ooooo lala my hair. Due to the allergy response I get I use Shea Butter infused with Fenugreek oil. My hair is so soft. I love my journey. Thank you sis Curly P.
I'm a little confused since I'm new at this. I'd like to know if I have the order of products correct. You shampoo your hair, add leave-in conditioner, then add shea butter mixed with chebe powder and leave on overnight. Is that correct? I absolutely love your hair! Will watch your videos from now on. Thank you
Love love love your channel , if it wasn’t for you my hair wouldn’t be in the state it is today , healthy and thick , you introduced my knowledge on herbs and Oils now I’m obsessed , it’s been two years since I been following you , and I must say you’re truly a blessing to the natural hair community 😘😘😘😘
FYI: I want to try the chebe mask how long do you recommend leaving in for ?
( I can’t do overnight lol)
I’m always singing your theme song 🤣❤️ LOVE your chebe powder tutorial & how you tried different ways to mix & apply. I’m definitely going to try the avocado.
I’ve just started using Soultanicals’ Chebe Ginger deep condish and love it! My hair was shining as I applied it, and moist & lustrous after I washed it out. I wiil try to find the powder for DIY’ing!
Shea moisture was definitely the most bomb!!
Hello, just dropping in to say thank you for your time and advise. today is my first day on my hair journey with you and i have started with mixing Avocado oil, Caster oil, Coconut oil and added Fenugreek powder Vitamin C powder and MSM powder 2 days ago. I then put it on my scalp (massage before and during) and just the mixture of the above oils on the hair itself . i am hopeful it will work . will keep you posted girl . keep up the good job . thanx xx
Hey Curly Proverbz, thank you for introducing me to ayurveda. It's an amazing science. I just started my hair journey and I already have great results. Can wait for my hair to be as long as yours soon😊
I never thought CP would ever do Chebe.
Love this video! Chebe is amazing! Great job doing the four parts and showing us.
Thank you! I have been watching you for over a year and have learned so much from you! Your hair is amazing🤓
Marian Richmond true
Love love your recipes they all work wonders. Happy New year 😍😍😍
Thanks Curly Proverbz, will definitely give chebe a try.
✊ oh I have band following henna treatment with hibiscus, neem, cassia and more good stuff, plus little indigo to keep my brown color, I put oils in there and this week I am adding in avocado because I need a little bit of extra treatment and I'm still on the fermented rice water. So far my hair is loving it all. My hair is still soft, manageable, and not breaking. No curls, kinks etc left behind.
I use coconut oil in my treatments with all the others, but can't have it touch my scalp.
Very helpful. More chebe videos please
Started watching all the way from Philly since the holidays when I was off. I wish I discovered years ago of 2012. You are really fantastic and show tremendous dedication to your hair and teaching us listeners and views to do the same to help your hair to grow and showing what it takes to do so. Can you do video about allergies of plants and chemicals? My self is allergic to latex in which if you are aware and others followers that Aloe Vera has Latex under the gel! Yes the yellow you see when removing the gel from the leaf you will see that yellow juice in which you do not want in th gel when removing it from the leaf. Research this information online and it is all there. Latex allergy itching of the skin in which my scalp itch when I made the leave in detangler of Aloe Vera Gel straight from the leaf in which was organic from an organic food store. Also Marshmallow root can cause itching to some people in is me of my sensitivity to certain plants and nuts. Marshmallow root of the macilige is very high and did not agree with me of the scalp. The Slippery Elm is fine and next time I just use that herb in boiling it in water, straining out the slimy part and then use Olive Oil and essential rosemary Oil in which aids in hair growth and keep your hair from graying. My hair is coarse and is still shoulder length in which I am trying to grow it longer. I did have longer hair all my life until 2004 when it got damage from a hair perm!! I am perm free now since 2012.I have to keep my ingredients simple of just 1,2,3 or 4 . I cannot use even the conditioners and other products you mention and recommend to try because they have the mixture of natural ingredients with preservatives. I am into herbs for teas and natural healing and keeping organic and chemical free. Sometimes even natural from plants you have allergies some people can tolerate with no reaction and some cannot. We all find out eventually what you can use in food, hair skin and cleaning and to stay away from chemicals that do harm to the body.
Boffins 🤣 I haven’t heard that word since 2003 during my secondary school days. Yep I would definitely agree I’ve become one of those since watching your channel. 💓
Bought some Chebe from them have not used it yet. I know now what to mix it with thanks for the Tea!!!
sounds like a pretty good thing to add to my hair regimen. I have low porosity 4c hair like yours.
Awesome share. Chebe works best in my hair but Im Allergic. So I'm going to try this but I will section it and apply and cover my ends in Saran wrap and rubber band it overnight. I cant wait to try your thingy here.
You should try sesame oil it's really moisturizing for the hair💖love your videos 😘
Tresemme has new clean shampoos, conditioners and an invisible volumizing hair spray. So far I like the new styler. It works great as a refresh spray for 2nd day hair up until you wash it again. I mix my Chebe with a conditioner. I love it on my hair, but my skin doesn’t like it. After applying to my hair, my hands became really itchy. Next time I will use gloves to apply it.
I mix my Cheney with Shea organic butter and oils
I’m just now finding out about Chebe powder will definitely look into it and I finally went and got some rice to do my rice water 🙄 ( why am I so late) lol.. but definitely no curls, kinks or coils left behind ✊🏾 I love you videos as always!! And your hair looks bomb!🌹❤️
So do you prefer chebe over henna?
I absolutely love your videos!! They are very informative. I have the chebe powder so I will use your recipes to see which one my hair likes the best😁 I’ve seen premixed chebe masks on Amazon, have you used them? If so, what do you think?✊🏾✊🏾
Hey love.. I'm so glad you did this video.. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chebe with Andalou Naturals Argan Oil and Shea Conditioner. Unreal definition and softness, Please try Andalou can be bought and Whole foods or Sprouts.
I love your channel! I’ve been watching each video over and over to nail my new aryurvedic hair routine! I’m just waiting for my herbs to be delivered! For a beginner in your henna “cake pops” your recipe calls for 9 tablespoons of henna/cassia, but should I reduce it for my beginner level?
also I wash my hair more frequently than once a week so for the hair teas and oiling of the scalp how often can I do it?
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️ more recipes for beginner DIYS please!
After watching this video I now know I will be using Chebe.
Very helpful as always, I look forward to your videos every week. Question: When you say: 'deep conditioned over night' , do you just put a shower cap and go to bed with it on, or a heatless cap? Can I just do a 1 hour under a hooded drier in medium heat instead, and as low porosity is it safe to use it weekly? I've been using chebe for 3 weeks now in my deep conditioners plus the rice water and it seems like the hair absorbs it better when I use heat and it rinses out better too, the first time without heat it was just sitting on top, the aloe vera makes a difference, honey is great tip thanks. Second Question: I pre prepped a henna, amla, shikakai and aloe powder mask for my next wash and stored it in the freezer, does it go well with the chebe deep conditioning blend if I leave it over night? I dont suppose I can use heat with henna? Xo
✊🏾 I’m definitely going to be looking into Chebe now!!
Proteolytic enzymes is just a fancy word for proteinase or proteases which means they break down long chains of protein to form amino acids which is the simple form. I really would like to know how scientists even discovered how this helps with stimulating hair growth and balancing the pH. Since hair is made of protein I would be scared it does more damage. I need to research this.
I would be interested in what you find out. Herbs and Ayurveda usage are not scientifically based. They are evidenced based so it may be difficult to find concrete proof but I would be curious.
I’m definitely interested in your findings as well. I have seen this being stated before but no evidence to support it.
Your results are amazing. I had a nice chebe mix prepared I was discouraged bc i listened to a good amount of reviews on youtibe and they said Chebe took their hair out or caused bald spots. I have a big bag i do want to try it
Hey Farida you’re pretty much my go-to when it comes to all things Ayurvedic. What would you say is the difference between Chebe and Henna? Should you use both? I ordered Chebe from Miss Sahel and ordered the Henna you recommended in your description box from Amazon. I’m just worried about using them wrong and having TOOO much strength in my hair therefore making it too brittle. I am pregnant right now and I plan to nurse so I know there are also some things I should avoid (like fenugreek and neem right?) so right now I’m just thinking about using henna teas and rinses, maybe glosses for wash and gos on weekends and making a butter with Chebe and using it for my protective styles during the week.
Sorry this is such a looong comment. Thank you so much for your content.
Love your content & your curls!
I have a chebe oil and I'm excited to see the results :)
Do you use your chebe oil on your scalp? And if yes, how long do you leave it on?
I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. I use the chebe recipe as a normal conditioner and wash it out after a few minutes?
Loved your video 😊👍🏾 I use TRESemme Moisture Rich Conditioner to mix my Chebe powder.
Which do you prefer Cheba or Henna?
I come to watch your channel for "voy risum" (if that's the right word) and then I go back to nappy fu's channel for real life lol. I'm A 4C Babe.
I’ll definitely be trying this. Thank you
Love the video, and the results....😲😲 One question. Did you detangle at any point during this regiment and if so, at what step?
Gorgeous hair. Does chebe change your curl pattern, and can chebe oil be applied to scalp? I know the chebe powder should not but the oil can it be applied to scalp?
Great tips. Having been using for a while. Your hair is awesome but I am still at the phase you were years ago with the growth process. Any tips for those who highlight their hair? Seem to have split ends which prevents growth despite trims and natural remedies.
Thank you so much for this great info ! I so appreciate you very much for sharing your knowledge. Merci !!!!
You're welcome and thank you..x
Can you do a video about maca root for the hair? You have such amazingly beautiful hair!
Just about everything you use works on my hair so I guess I will be buying Chebe lol. I already have a drawer full of powders and this will be one more.
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL . I just got my Chebe. Any ideals how I would style with it and not use as a deep conditioner?
I love your videos❤️❤️. I recently colored my hair and i wanted to know is it still ok to use Amla, Chebe and other herbal powder?
Can you show us a wash day routine using this product?
Great shine!
This made my night 😌
Love the organization of the video. I absolutely love Belle Bar Organics Chebe Powder... the moisture is intense.
-Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint Mask
-Belle Bar Chebe Powder
-hibiscus powder
-Belle Bar “Rio”
can you use the chebe without the bellabarorganic products to see how the natural chebe works?? i know that is your product but it does has other herbs in it as well right? i wonder how fenugreek spritz along with the chebe would work??
I notice you use Chebe one week and henna gloss the next. When do you use the rice water and onion rinse?
Do you wash it off with just water or shampoo or better still a conditioner?
Damilola Odekunle Excellent question, due to the fact I want to know that as well!
I saw the same video but couldn’t find a reliable website to purchase it.
I love love your videos. I have a question to ask you on Amazon can you recommend a great Henna to use. They are so many to choose from and I don’t know what to buy. Thanks 😊
U look like u could be on a shampoo commercial💗
How many years did it take to go from collar bone length to the length you are now?
Man, such much stuff to try. I’m so overwhelmed! 😳 I’m going to just get to the point where I shampoo and condition my hair and that’s it.
I’m so confused and all these videos seems like so much to do just get long hair 😣
Not really, just do as much as you feel comfortable doing. If it's starts to feel overwhelming for you just take a few breaths and remember it's just hair. What do you feel you need help with exactly? I'm sure there's a few of us on here that can help you out
Don't stress. Every recipe isn't for everyone. I'm just starting my fenugreek oil/spritz routine. I will try the chebe later. Growing hair does require more effort than weaves and braids. I find my hair days are a spiritual experience. At least these recipes don't have all the harmful chemicals MOST over the counter shampoos and conditioners.
also one more question, I can’t afford the belle bar hair products, but I would love to try chebe! Can I get chebe online and add some of my own herbs with your recipes? thank you! ❤️

Curlyproverbz, after you have done all four treatments with Chebe, did you just rinse it out/ or did you shampoo?
That chebe stuff is way too expensive. $55 for 1.6oz, $73 for 3oz..... Like, damn

@@allylamala okay
allylamala from which vendor did you buy your chebe
allylamala thanks I found it are you using it in s certain way ? I’ve used it before but it’s messy , I’m going to do it different this time
I just got some cave form Amazon, I'm trying to make a D.I.Y whip cream I have she a butter, and castor oil so I'm wondering how to make it up any suggestions I don't have any other oils to make in . I have organic raw Shea butter. So do I just out it in a bowl with the cave and castor oil and mix I do I strain the cebe
It’s funny I just watched a video about the chad tribe an their hair growth techniques and then you posted about it anyway Awesome vid thanks for the knowledge as always 💕😘
Hi sis I was told not to allow the Cheney to the scalp so how can it nourish the follicles if it shouldn't touch the scalp.
Can I use the Chebe and the Henna ?
I want to have one Henna treatment once a month..
Apart from the Shipping/delivery fee, what is the customs tax payable for BelleBar when ordering from UK??
Hi! I have 2a texture hair, can I use cheber? And how many times a week, or a month can I use it?
I love ur DIYs 🤗
Hey I really really hope you read this. I am currently living for all your strengthening hair sprays and oils however my hair is in twist for a month and a half and I can only get to my scalp my strands not so much. My hair is currently struggling in the moisture aspect can you make an moisture spray diy, or oil diy. Also another question since I really do not have access to my strands like I normally do is the Ayurvedic method isn't going to be that helpful to my strands ?
Tfs! Can you use fenugreek oil and chebe as an oil leave in?
video🔥.
So how are we incorporating rice water with the Chebe & can you find us one cheaper the Bella bar 😫 way 2 expensive
Hi love love love your contents heads up - my hair still dry I don't know what I'm doing wrong
I've been natural for 4 years seeing results but a very very slow process
Is it safe to mix chebe with the amla powder and a conditioner as well??
Did you notice any growth? They say it speeds up growth.
Very pretty btw
Chebe only helps yo retain length by keeping your hair moisturized. It doesn't grow hair. You're not suppose to add it to the scalp, just the hair shafts.
Gosh, I work 2 jobs, I'm so busy, I'm surprised my hair is as long as it is. Wish I could just give u my scalp so u could strengthen my hair! Do u have a busy routine, with store bought or at home products?
Greetings.. I looked on their site for the powder you talked about but they don't show it.
You’re gorgeous!!
Aww thanks x
I really need to try Chebe tfs
