Thank you. I wear mascara, that is it. This is a video from 2022 , but the only thing that has changed is my sunscreen. I now use Super Good Unseen Sunscreen.
You should do a products haul of the products you use on your hair. On the different times you're doing your hair whether it's wash day, moisturizer day and anything other day. Love your videos ❤
Just purchased some items from Sashel Cosmetics and I actually have a small amount of chebe powder left that I purchased from Amazon but now I’m going through Sahel. Thanks for the information
Today 4/6/2024 Saturday morning 09:40 am I've watched your last video on Chebe as well, am curious how did you learn about Chebe? If the Chebe irritates the scalp, won't it irritate the rest of your skin. I noticed you twist rubbed up against your face. I have sensitive skin. Thank you for sharing, I luv how informative you are in these hair videos. Have a blessed weekend. Excited about the Solar Eclipse coming Monday here in Bloomington, Indiana, rite in its path.
Hello! Happy Sunday. I was introduced to Chebe on RUclips. And of course then I went down the rabbit hole and was intrigued. Correct you are not supposed to put chebe on the scalp, it can cause irritation and inflammation. Some women have reported that they have had to re-wash their hair. Yes some of the twists were brushing up against my face, but I did not break out or have a reaction. But I also do not have sensitive skin.
Hi Maya, I have enjoyed this video and appreciate each explanation of all your steps with this chebe mixture. I have purchased both Sahel chebe powder & the odara chebe hair grease. This is my 2nd application of it. It was prepared similar to your steps on my 1st application. My 2nd time Saturday, I applied It somewhat like you like the Chad woman. I must say that if you have to scratch your scalp, it leaves a dark black residue underneath your nail bed, which I’m not fond It also leaves a burnt smell in nostrils, & spects of it falling if you take off your scarf from your head. Next time, I will do my mixture similar to your steps. I mostly use the chebe grease to apply to my hair ends and for oiling my scalp. Did you have any issues of this product getting underneath your nail beds and somewhat hard to remove? Thank you
Hello Mattie! I am so glad you decided to join us. When applying I will get the grease under my fingernails and with the Chebe mixture I will get pieces stuck under my fingernails. I wash my hands and it come off, but none of the residue has been black.
Thank you for sharing your process. While I know having the hair wrapped is important for keeping the ends protected, do you think the hair is best left down when using the chebe powder because the powder weighs the hair down, therefore causing it to stretch and lengthen? I ask this because when I see the women in Chad, they appear to have their hair braided down their backs mostly.
They do! I have also seen videos of the women of Chad put their hair in low bun. I think it depends on the person. As of now I have not see any damage or breakage due to putting my hair up. So far I have not noticed any stretching with the powder. I just finished the 2nd application so I will see if my hair remains stretched tomorrow.
TFS! I've been using the Chebe oil from this brand for my scalp massages and to seal in the moisture when I do my moisturize routine on the length of my microlocs. Recently as of last Saturday I started using the grease on my edges and ends.
When do I apply tge Shea moisture Amla bond oil? I watched several of your videos and didn't see you use it but it's listed as an ingredient in all the chebe videos. Please lmk!
Hello! I don't have an opinion on hair porosity in regards to hair growth. As you will hear people say the rate at which your hair grows is genetic. I do based my products on hair porosity. I would be considered to have low porosity hair and when you read up on it it will say to choose lightweight products like milks and light weight curl gels so they don't sit on your hair.
Thanks for sharing your leave in recipe i was planning on making one soon with my own favorite leave in and was doin olive oil, peppermint oil and black casters oil but maybe I really should get the lavender as well i have been debating 🤔 but the benefits says a lot about it. Use a whisk or fork because anything cream base mixed with an oil will emulsify better by being whisked it still may separate later though sorry just my culinary brain was frustrated watching you mix it 🤣💕
I am currently working from home. If I were to go into the office I would wear my hair as I usually do. That also includes head wraps and turbans. I apply the chebe power every 5 days and the chebe grease every 4. I do not wash either out until wash day. I wash my hair every 2 weeks.
I love your channel🤎 We have the same grade of hair. I have med long hair mid back of my hair. My daughter’s hairs tail bone. I cut my hair a lot because it’s extremely heavy for me. I decided last eeek to let it grow tail long. I don’t believe it’ll take too long. I’m already using all the products except for Shaw moist products. Thank you again for the extra tips
For me the sweet spot with the Chebe is every 4 days. My edges I only use product on them when need be. If I am not oing anything or not going anywhere I dont touch them.
@@KlassicallyKept me either but my grey is on my edges and nape and that part is also hi po so it dries out quicker from the scarf sucking up moisture and rubbing it dry. I just realized that my hair has several different textures and porosity. If I'm going to get my nape and bang and edges area to grow out I gotta keep the moisture high in those areas. The rest of my hair has 3 days b4 it starts drying out. I wish you tube would allow pics to be posted. I don't do IG or FB bcus it's to messy and distracting.
@@aquafina6544I started unintentionally wearing a cute, reusable shower bonnet as my night time bonnet when I was traveling and forgot my silk bonnet at home. It seriously helps hair retain moisture overnight. This is the old “baggy method” for natural hair, but the shower bonnet is more elevated than using a plastic bag, visually speaking.
The back has 6 large sections, which are also the same sections I wash my hair in. The back The lower section I leave as 3 jumbo twists. The top section: the two sections on the side I break down into 2 jumbo twists and the middle section I break up into 3 jumbo twists.
@@KlassicallyKept Thanks for responding! It is a question that has been a bug in my bonnet. You’ve said it before but trying to map it out on my head is a Challenge. Every head is different. 😊 I think my hair is not very dense so things fall differently.
A shower curtain on the floor…i love this. Such a good idea.
I have seen that as the hair gets longer, the curl pattern loosens.
Your skin is gorgeous
thank you
Bruh we need a skin routine bc your face is flawless! And it looks like you don't have any makeup on.

I say get it. I like it
@@KlassicallyKept Thank you! But which should I start with grease or powder?
Hi, would you say making a chebe oil will be just as beneficial?
I have not not made a Chebe oil, but other people have reported good things about it.
