Total War: Warhammer is part of Creative Assembly's grand strategy Total War series. Set in the grim, high fantasy world of Warhammer Fantasy, Total War: Warhammer pits many unique races in a struggle for domination of the Old World. Soldiers clash with magic and monsters, as factions are locked in battle. But beyond this conflict lurks a larger threat: The forces of Chaos descend from the north to bring ruin and destruction, at the behest of their dark gods.

Jokes about Norsca learning are technically always true as their whole campaign is one big quest about reverse engineering techs of other factions... which hasn't been updated to include most new factions so that's why Norsca can't leave the dark age and go feudal😅

fun fact that someone pointed to in the comment sections... the chaos gods sacred numbers are all above 5 (unless you count Nurgle that also has 3 as a sacred number on top of 7).. yeah that may be why they cant get the favor of their own gods XD

That's actually how Orks count. For real. They write with glyphs, and they have I, II, III, IIII, IIIII for each finger (numbers), then they cross the last one to say "many".
At least, they do that in 40k. I guess they are a bit more advanced !
except.. I think Orks are even worse than this at counting. They stop at 3, and past that it's "lots" (though their writing can count much higher than that.. its just that they dont even bother counting past 3 usually.
