- With the regrettable passing of Akira Toriyama, I could not help but ask myself the question of "what now?". join me in todays video to discuss what I think the future has in store for us Dragon Ball fans. Really sad how the copyright fight is going, either persons getting the copyright would be really bad for different reasons.
yeah its tricky but they have dug themselves in so deep its near impossible to dig them out at this point
DragonBall literally has an autoimmune disease right now, it's insane.
What really irks me though, is how they didn't see this coming. Even if they all thought Toriyama had a long life ahead of him, this seems like something that needs to have been immediately settled in any and all contracts made.
My guess is that it's anachronistic contracts from the 90s or 80s getting in the way that scummy executives purposefully refused to get updated.

Hopefully Toriyama's family gets the rights. In contrast to the rights to Yu-Gi-Oh which were fully given to Konami when the original Yu-Gi-Oh manga was still running.

@@ijudgeanime Takahashi had still some involvement until the end of 5Ds. Only good thing Konami did with Yu-Gi-Oh was to change the studio to Bridge with Sevens.

Well I know dragon ball will be in the Japan public domain along with other anime with years to come . Don't get me wrong I feel that dragon ball daima dose not look intersting to me.

@@ijudgeanime maybe a special episode or chapater of a character going through all the hardship to get all the dragon ball, but then you see either Bulma or Goku come in, gets it with no effort and leave
