You are so welcome! 💖
Just the kind of instructions I was looking for. Thank you❤
You’re welcome 😊
I just a received a long maxi skirt and love it but want to make it a high low hem. I’m going to give it a try.
You got this! I'm excited to see how it goes! 😍
I’m trying to figure out how to make a box pleated high low skirt. Fortunately I persisted on learning more and eventually YT suggested this video of yours, after suggesting quick make videos. Very informative indeed. Thank you. New subscriber and follower.
yay!! Thank you so much! 💖
That is a beautiful high-low dress. The only upcycling I have done recently is to shorten some of my office dresses to be more for summer/casual wear. Your video has encouraged me to assess some of the never worn garments in my closet to see if I can make them more wearable. Thank you for a great workshop Wednesday!
I was going to ask why you drew the curve the way you did but i guess it was to avoid the point as you said
Where can I buy that curve you are using?
The ruler with the curve.
ETSY has them as well.
Where did you purchase your ruler with a curve?
I bought mine when I lived in Germany. It is called a “schneiderwinkel”, directly translated that would be “seamstress angle”. I thought they were called pattern squares in English although everything other than this type of ruler came up when I did a quick Google search. It looks like I may need to find a good place to import them from to hook people up here. They are definitely an essential to my sewing room.
ETSY has them as well.
