I have been using the 19-dollar F411 of HGLRC Patrel in my helicopter for 4+ years. I got burned by the F745 of Flywoo because it sometimes deems the ICM unstable and quickly makes a flip immediately after entering stabilization mode after spooling up my rotor. Also, switching back and forth between angle mode and acro mode introduces a large offset of attitude. Wish me luck with speedybee 405 mini now that I just placed the order. I need the 8MB gyro data for my onboard video recording once I switch from analog to walksnail mini 1s.
Awesome review, Mark! 😃
SpeedyBee is just killing it!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
This reminds me of the good old days of the Diatone Mamba Mini-Stacks. Adjusted for inflation, lol.😂
Looking forward to seeing the "bones." Thanks Mark!
I was hoping they would make a 20x20. I love the 30x30 version. Now maybe I could afford to race again
ITS AMAZING FLIGHT CONTROLLER SPEEDYBEE MINI- ILL RIP IN MY QUAD AND SUPER AMAZING GREAT REVIEW BRO👍
Got 1 on the way i just hope the first batch doesnt have to many issue's 🙏
Looking for a 20x20 stack to allow the HDzero Freestyle monster to fit next to it.
Q: What motors do you recommend for this on AOS 5 frame? 35A seems sketchy for 2306/2207
and speedy bee stuff is available. all the time. take note manufacturer's
Can i use 6s150c with this stack. For racing drone 5 inch
Nope they need to make the esc 45amp at lease
got to get me a couple of these
Is this also gonna one of those stacks where everyone recommends it and then a few weeks later we realise that it has issues? Like the Speedybee F405 V3?
wait for my flight review!!
Hola buenas
El peso total del stack cual es?
Que quiero montar un frame de OddityRC xl25 y no quiero pasar de 250gr
Gracias@@uavtech
Speedy bee f405 30x30 has a lot of issues with betaflight 4.4 version. Sd card has an error due to it running on the same spi as the osd does and those two can corrupt. Osd freezes on the betaflight logo screen and sd card has a fatal error. At least this one is not using a sd card.
WOW! $60 35a, 6uarts, 9v pads, .. kinda hard to pass up
Kinda hard to beat as well!
Would this work on the Grinderino 3.5" freestyle drone? I need a mini to fit a Vista in the quad.
How does this compare with the Aocoda-RC F7 MINI Flight Controller MPU6500 16MB Black Box for about the same price?
MPU6500 doesn't use SPI connection to the STM, so it's slow AF. Scam.
Mark, can this be installed on a 7" ? i mean does the ESC will suffice for the 28xx motors of a 7" quad
eh... pushing it with a 7" I think. Depends how hard you are flying it. The electrical noise damping is what really matters for a 7", and this ESC / FC has not be3 vetted yet to see how well it performs.
I'm looking for a 20x20 stack. One with a blackbox and a future-proof CPU, but I only need 12 to 15 amps on the ESCs. Any ideas?
yeah, the SpeedyBee F4 Mini
How about these little ones:
Jhemcu ghf722aio with 40A esc for ~50$
Neutronrc at32f435 aio with AM32 45A esc for ~50$
AIO's are always trouble IMHO, especially for 4" / 5".
@@uavtech not for long.. with the new am32 f4a CHIPLET aios will be perfect for 5" quads in a few months... as it is I race a fleet of ultralite 5" quads and blowing up AIOs isn't something I have to deal with
@@Sugar_K finally!! Good work. Looking forward to that moment.
Now wait until they get into US online stores.
yeah...
this hobby is too expensive, too complicated, too frustrating, and it's just not fun at all. and there was no customers at all who would pay you to fly around the sky to look at things for them. like none. at all. no ocean of customers waiting before, none during. it blew chunks as a hobby, and it was non-existant as a career...
it just needs to be for your own fun. every hobby is not for everyone.
I'm not sure 35 amps is enough. I have this stack on my 3.5" Bee35 build running on 6s. Manufacturer says it's rated for 3s to 6s. Twice I had motor wires "de-solder" during pretty routine maneuvers and recently smoked the esc after a hard (not even very hard) landing. Im not an electrical engineer by any stretch but I think the ESC is at fault. I'm posting here to see if anyone else has had trouble with this stack running 3.5" props at 6s. By the way, the motors are 2205 3200kv. I feel like I'm running everything within spec. Anybody else having problems? I ordered another in case the bad one was a fluke. I usually have good luck with SpeedyBee products. HAPPY FLYING AMIGOS 🫡 🍻
NeutronRC AT32F435 Mini AIO Flight Controller...... any support for this board yet ? its 1/3 the price of everything else its a no brainer???
