  • Horse Saddle Rider // 20 years of being in a Marine Corps vehicle based unit, LAR "Tip of the Spear", We preach to our Marines, the concept of "Horse, Saddle, Rider". You take care of the vehicle and equipment that takes care of you first. By going thru conducting a walk around of you vehicle first thing in the morning can save yourself lots of headache later on down the trail.

Such a useful & important Tip to apply when your out there on the trails. A Quick Morning check to make sure everything is ok & in tip-top shape could save you. I've always said "Its always better to prevent then cure!" Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, it has worked well for me for the last 20 years in the Marine Corps ... catch it early. You are right about to prevent is better...

Cody, IMO this is one of the best Overlanding videos of the year. Clearly you have many years of mil convoy experience. Yet, this is so basic to everyday life that I think this should be taught in high school.
If you ever get a chance to make a checklist that would be awesome.
