Nice to see you catching some nice fish. Glad you recovered your gear. I did not expect another video before Christmas. But, thank you for including us. Again, Merry Christmas.

Love watching your videos and the fish you catch. But can not understand why they don’t have closed captions on them. Some of your fans like me don’t hear well. I for one would appreciate them thank you for listening

I agree with you on the captions. I get frustrated when I don't hear what's going on.

I think the cost of that would be painstakingly high. IMO

    Like the slogan,
would add: eat what your ancestors ate
    Meat eggs fish
    No grain
    No plants
    No problems

Hi sorry guys, why aren't subtitles enabled? For me they would be convenient for understanding conversations. I wish you a Merry Christmas

Thanks guys ... you squeezed one in ! ... love watching ya do what you do ... Merry Christmas Len and Mom, thank you for letting us hang
out ❤❤🎸🎸🐟🐟 Ops I did not add the really appreciate how Matt is so effective and humble at the same time. Fish Hooks are sharp, you have to be careful ... Big Halibut are heavy .. you HAVE to set the gaff or $200.00 falls back into the sea, Love hanging with you you , Merry Christmas EIS Family :)

I don’t know if you have thought about it but when you were snagged. When you were pulling and the rope was going to the bow. It looked like you were in a bad place if something happened to your connection to the boom. Maybe consider connecting a safety chain to the boom and around the rope you are hauling up. It just looked bad to me. But you know what your equipment is doing and I don’t. I have seen shackles fail and snatch blocks to under pressure. Have a great day and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Losing gear as a recreational fisher sucks. Losing gear as a commercial fisher sucks hard. Excellent to see you got it all back.
You still managed some nice doormats though.

Just happened to come across your site today, and subscribed. We had a trip booked to travel to Alaska to Valdez and do a charter Halibut trip while there, until Covid hit. Will try again in 2025 but watching you guys catching some really awesome fish has really got the Adrenalin going for sure. Going back over all your previous posts now and loving them. All the best and wishing you a Happy New Year from NZ

I know that it must be time consuming to edit and post the videos. I appreciate what you guys do because I really enjoy watching them. I was wondering since you dropped a set around some rocks that snagged it. In the future, any chance of posting a snap shot of what you see on the structure scan and sonar? Maybe some coordinates too. I don’t know where 7 miles from home is. Thanks

Ok here's a question for each individual family member....What is your favorite fish type to catch? I would think because of the most excitement it might be the salmon netting but maybe that isn't the most payed for type of fish so mom and dad might not like that as much as say halibut or rockfish? So I'm guessing dads and moms might be halibut but Matts might be salmon netting and T's could well be rockfish?

Your right. When they were hauling in fish from rear of boat, it seemed they had more space & better views. Also, other members of family were in video. Wish they would go back to previous way they fished for halibut.
