YEAR-OLD BROCCOLI SEEDS TEST & quick sprouting DEMO

I had a bag of broccoli seeds that I'd purchased early last year that I'd forgotten about and decided to test them to see if they would still sprout well after almost a year and a half. The product page said they would still be good sprouters for at least two years after purchase, but are they??

NEW NOTE FEB 2023: The exact kit I used in my demo is no longer available on Amazon so I've subbed in a link below to a comparable one. The only difference I can see is that you get a single drainage tray instead of two separated ones and plastic screen mesh lids instead of metal ones but neither of these should make any difference.
